Hydraulic servos engage and disengage a plurality of friction engagement elements; a hydraulic pressure supply system supplies the hydraulic servo of a predetermined friction engagement element with hydraulic pressure; and an auxiliary hydraulic pressure supply systems supplies a predetermined hydraulic servo with another hydraulic pressure, in the case where the hydraulic pressure supply system is placed in a first unsupplied state where the hydraulic pressure supply system cannot supply the hydraulic servo of the predetermined friction engagement element with hydraulic pressure. The auxiliary hydraulic pressure supply system does not supply the predetermined hydraulic servo with the other hydraulic pressure, in the case that the hydraulic pressure supply system is placed in a second unsupplied state where the hydraulic pressure supply system does not supply the hydraulic servo of the predetermined friction engagement element with hydraulic pressure.

摘要: This invention provides a switch valve which can increase durability without causing driver discomfort at a time when a failure occurs. The switch valve has a spool is formed by a spool portion and a plunger which is arranged so as to freely abut against the spool portion. The switch valve also include a spool surrounding portion surrounding the spool and provided with a plurality of land portions. The spool selectively adopts a position at a normal, non-failure state and a position at a fail state. In the position at the normal state, at least one corner portion of the land in the plunger protrudes from an end portion of the corresponding land portion. Because a stepped wear portion is not formed on an inner peripheral surface of the land portion, foreign materials, such as wear powders or the like, do not enter a portion between an outer peripheral surface of the land and the inner peripheral surface of the land portion when the failure occurs.

A material equivalent to JIS-SCM420 is soft nitrided for two hours in a mixture gas containing 45 to 65 volume % of residual NH.sub.3 at a gas temperature of 530 to 565.degree. C., thus producing a compound layer having a hardness equal to or higher than that of the material plus Hv 50 and a thickness of 200 .mu.m or more.

摘要: An oil seal member is compressed between a connecting pipe for supplying oil to an oil chamber of a hydraulic servo and the cylinder drum of the hydraulic servo. The cylinder drum has an interior oil chamber and turns through a predetermined angle upon operation of a frictional engagement element by the hydraulic servo. The end of the seal member pressed against the cylindrical drum surrounds an oil hole 73 formed in the cylindrical drum, and oil pressure is supplied to the oil chamber through an oil passage in which the seal member is mounted and through the oil hole. A recess is formed in the outer surface of the cylindrical drum around the oil hole and the end of the seal member is received in the recess. When the cylindrical member turns within the predetermined angular range, the end of the seal member is protected by the recess. As a result, the end of the seal member is not damaged and the integrity of the seal is protected.

The drive device includes a rotary electric machine, and an engagement device connecting the drive device to the engine by a fluid coupling using hydraulic pressure. A case houses at least a portion of the drive device and includes a support wall extending radially, and a cylindrical projecting portion projecting from the support wall toward a side in an axial second direction that is in a direction opposite to the axial first direction. The engagement device includes an operating oil pressure chamber supplied with the hydraulic pressure. A rotor member of the rotary electric machine is radially supported by the cylindrical projecting portion in a rotatable state via a support bearing. The cylindrical projecting portion is formed with an operating oil supply passage supplying oil to the operating oil pressure chamber.

摘要: A hydraulic control apparatus, provided with a manual shift valve that outputs a forward range pressure and a reverse range pressure, and a linear solenoid valve that outputs an engagement pressure to the hydraulic servo that engages during reverse travel when energized, includes a fourth clutch relay valve that is interposed between the linear solenoid valve and the hydraulic servo. The fourth clutch relay valve communicates an engagement pressure of the linear solenoid valve to the hydraulic servo by locking in the normal position when a signal pressure of the solenoid valve is input, and communicates a reverse range pressure to the hydraulic servo by being switched to a fail position by the reverse range pressure during a failure in which the fourth clutch relay valve is de-energized. Thereby, it is possible to establish a reverse speed during a failure in which the solenoid valve is de-energized.
