The casing stores lubricating oil in its bottom portion. The main frame has the compression mechanism placed on it and supports the drive shaft in such a way that the drive shaft may freely rotate. The flow path forming member forms an oil flow path at a space adjacent an inner peripheral surface of the casing. The oil flow path carries a flow of lubricating oil, which lubricates sliding portions including the compression mechanism and the drive shaft. The temperature measuring mechanism is disposed outside the casing. The temperature measuring mechanism measures the temperature of a section of an outer peripheral surface of the casing adjacent the oil flow path.

The lap of the fixed scroll and the lap of the movable scroll are interlocked to form a compression chamber between the laps of the scrolls which are adjacent to each other. At least one of the laps has a spiral shape in which a base radius of an involute decreases as a winding angle increases in a region extending from a winding start part to a winding middle part, and the base radius of the involute in a region extending from the winding middle part to a winding end part is larger than the smallest value of the base radius of the involute in the region extending from the winding start part to the winding middle part.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a scroll member for a compression mechanism installed in a scroll compressor includes a casting step and a cutting step. An iron casting is formed in the casting step, which includes a spiraling part. The iron casting obtained in the casting step is cut during the cutting step in order to obtain a final shape of the scroll member. The iron casting may include a fixed part having a central portion with a first axial thickness and an external periphery portion with a second axial thickness larger than the first axial thickness before the cutting step. A dimension of a specified portion of the spiraling part may be larger before the cutting step is performed than after the cutting step is performed, with the specified portion preferably disposed toward an external periphery of the spiraling part.

    摘要: Difficulties in retaining can holders in conventional vehicular drink holders are eliminated in a vacuum insulated can holder that includes a cup-shaped metallic outer liner having an upper opening, an opposite bottom and a generally cylindrical side wall extending upwardly from the bottom to the opening. A similarly configured cup-shaped metallic inner liner is nested within the outer liner and spaced therefrom to define vacuum space between the two. The outer liner has an outer diameter just less than the inner diameter of a conventional vehicular beverage holder while the inner diameter of the inner liner is just greater than the outer diameter of a conventional metal beverage can.
