摘要: There is provided a vehicle wheel that can suppress any detachment of a sub air chamber from a well portion when a fixing member between the sub air chamber and the well portion becomes defective by any possibility. A vehicle wheel comprises a sub-air-chamber member which reduces any air column resonance of a tire and which is disposed on an outer circumference surface of a well portion of a rim. The sub-air-chamber member is fixed on the well-portion outer circumference surface, the sub-air-chamber member is covered by a cover made of a rubber from an external side, and the cover is fixed on an outer circumference surface of the rim at both sides of the sub-air-chamber member in a rim width direction.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a method of and an apparatus for limiting electrical loads due to electrical equipment on an electric vehicle. In the electrical load limiting apparatus, a desired running distance is inputted by a desired running distance inputting device and a depth of discharge of a battery is detected by a battery condition detecting device. Ambient environment data for the electric vehicle are obtained from an illuminance sensor, a temperature sensor and a raindrop sensor. An arithmetic device is activated to determine and compute running conditions on the basis of the desired running distance, the depth of discharge and the ambient environment data. The electrical loads are controlled by an electrical load limiting device based on the result of the determination by the arithmetic device. Since the electrical loads are limited based on the running conditions, an accurate judgment can be made, based on the ambient environment, as to whether or not the electric vehicle can cover the inputted desired running distance.

摘要: A vehicle electrical-load limiting apparatus wherein the priority given over a plurality of electrical loads, for restricting the driving of the electrical loads mounted on a vehicle, is first decided in order of importance and the amount of drive restriction of each of the electrical loads is then determined based on the remaining capacity of a vehicle electric source, thereby restricting the driving of the electrical loads. A fuzzy inference is carried out by making use of membership functions corresponding to both (a) the deviation indicative of the difference between a standard value set for each electrical load attached to the vehicle and a value of an electrical load when now in use, and (b) the residual capacity of the electric source. Then, the amount of the drive restriction of each of the electrical loads is obtained from the result of the fuzzy inference. It is therefore possible to automatically determine to what degree the driving of the electrical loads should be restricted according to the degree of the residual capacity of the electric source.

摘要: There is provided a vehicle wheel which can reduce a rolling resistance by rising a tire temperature with a simple structure. A heat-insulation rubber is pasted on all circumference surface of a portion of an outer circumference surface of a rim other than a bead seating portion where a bead portion of a tire closely contacts and a rim flange portion. The heat-insulation rubber suppresses any heat transfer from air in a tire air chamber and from the internal surface of the tire to the rim at the outer circumference surface of the rim which contacts the air in the tire air chamber.

摘要: A running performance control apparatus suitable for use in an electric vehicle, which is capable of restricting the running performance of the vehicle when the capacity of a battery of the vehicle is reduced to the preset residual capacity. The battery capacity reduced to the preset residual capacity is detected and a vehicle running state including the speed of a running vehicle and the acceleration of the vehicle, is detected. An operating state, including shift positions of a transmission of the vehicle and the degree of opening of a vehicle accelerator is detected. When the battery capacity is reduced to the preset residual capacity, it is determined whether the vehicle running state should be restricted. If the answer is determined to be Yes, then information indicative of the contents of a desired restriction datum of the running performance can be read from a storing device storing a plurality of restriction data each used to restrict the running performance of the vehicle on the basis of information indicative of the running state detected by a running state detecting device, and of information indicative of the operating state detected by an operating state detecting device, thereby making it possible to restrict the running performance of the vehicle.
