    摘要： A vehicle motion control apparatus configured to control a plurality of control objects in a same direction of vehicle motion control to achieve a requested control amount is provided. The vehicle motion control apparatus includes a control object selection unit which is configured to determine priority of the control objects used for the vehicle motion control based on a priority determination condition, to select a control object from among the plurality of control objects. The control object selection unit includes a control object selection timing determination section configured to detect a change in the priority determination condition, and cause the control object selection unit to reselect a control object at a timing of the change detection as a selection timing.

    摘要： A motor drive apparatus has a plurality of motor drive parts and a control unit. The control unit performs first and second failure detection processing for the motor drive parts before starting to drive the motor. If the first motor drive part is determined to have failure by the first failure detection processing, a first power supply relay for the first motor drive part is turned off and the second failure detection processing for the first motor drive part is inhibited. If the second motor drive part is determined to have no failure by the first failure detection processing and then by the second failure detection processing, the motor is started to operate.

    摘要： In a steering control system, an ECU calculates a basic assist torque in accordance with a steering torque detected by a torque sensor, and a corrected assist torque by correcting the calculated basic assist torque in accordance with the position of a rack by making corrections so that the basic assist torque decreases when the rack moves from a predetermined first position, which is close to a first end of a movable range, to the first end or from a predetermined second position, which is close to a second end of the movable range, to the second end. The ECU determines either the basic assist torque or the corrected assist torque as the assist torque in accordance with the position of the rack. The ECU controls the drive of an actuator in accordance with the determined assist torque.

    摘要： An electric power steering device includes: an electric power source for supplying first current; a controller for setting a current instruction value; multiple electric power converters for converting the first current to second current corresponding to the current instruction value; multiple pairs of windings for generating a driving force of a motor; and a failure detection element for detecting failure of the electric power converters and the windings. The controller reduces the current instruction value to be equal to or smaller than a predetermined instruction value of a normal operation when the failure detection element detects the failure. The controller controls the electric power converter in a normal state to supply the second current to a corresponding winding.
