    摘要: Provided is a superconducting apparatus, including a joint of superconducting wires having high electric conduction characteristics and a superconducting magnet or the like. The superconducting joint comprises a plurality of superconducting wires and a sinter which integrates the plurality of superconducting wires. Herein, at least any one of the superconducting wires is a MgB2 superconducting wire, the sinter contains MgB2, and the sinter is compressed form the direction different from the direction toward which the superconducting wires protrude. Further, in order to form such a joint, a compression vessel provided with an opening used for introducing raw material powders to construct the sinter and another opening used for inserting the superconducting wires is utilized, and the openings are directed to different directions each other. Accordingly, MgB2 is filled in the sinter at high density, allowing the joint structure to have a good bonding property among particles.

    摘要: In a superconducting coil, a parallel conductor includes a plurality of superconducting wires bundled and wound in a coil. The superconducting wires have at least two connections therebetween. A current source connected to the superconducting wires to form a loop via the superconducting wires and the connection to supply a current in the loop when a quench is detected. A superconducting magnet includes the superconducting coil, a persistent current switch connected to the superconducting coil, and a quench detector configured to detect quench occurring in the superconducting coil.

    摘要: Magnetic field attenuation in a persistent current mode operation is prevented, heat generation at a connecting part between the persistent current switch and the superconducting coil, and increase in a cooling temperature of the superconducting coil in a current supplying mode is suppressed to a minimum.The refrigerator cooling-type superconducting magnet J according to the present invention including a superconducting coil (2), a persistent current switch (1) for switch between a persistent current mode and a current supplying mode; a superconducting coil (2), first and second cryogenic refrigerators (3, 4) for respectively cooing the superconducting coil (2) and the persistent current switch (1); a vacuum vessel (10) for housing the super conducting coil (2), the persistent current switch (1), and cooling stages (31, 32, 41, 42) of the first and second cryogenic refrigerators (3, 4), the magnet includes a superconducting wire (5) for connecting the superconducting coil (2) to the persistent current switch (1) and a superconducting bypass line (6) electrically connected in parallel to the superconducting wire along a longitudinal direction, wherein a superconducting critical temperature of the superconducting bypass line (6) is higher than a superconducting critical temperature of the persistent current switch (5).
