    摘要： An electronic wallet includes a plurality of operating keys at least having a plurality of numeric and calculation keys, a display part for displaying thereon electronic money information and IC card state information, at least one independent function switch in addition to a power switch, a plurality of control keys for operating the electronic money information stored in IC cards and the IC card state information, and a plurality of function keys having a plurality of function level layers having a plurality of tasks, for selecting the plurality of tasks having the respective function level layers. Thereby the electronic wallet can have many functions. Further, a modem unit, which is removably mounted to card slots of the electronic wallet, is provided with a through opening to communicate with the card slots and a modular jack to be connected to a communication line. Since a user can insert the IC card into the electronic wallet from the card slots with the modem unit already mounted to the card slots, handling of the electronic wallet is convenient upon transfer of the electronic money through the communication line. In addition, the user can insert the IC card into the electronic wallet which is still connected to the communication line.

    摘要： An electronic-money card is used for carrying out transactions such as depositing, drawing, cash exchanging and transfers of electronic money in an automatic teller machine. A plurality of menus showing a variety of transactions are displayed so that the user to select one of the menus. If the deposit menu is selected, menus for cash and electronic money are displayed to request the user to select whether the money to be deposited is cash or electronic money. If the user selects the electronic-money deposit menu, the user is requested to enter a cash card and a password number. Once the password number is entered, the validity of the user is verified. After the validity of the user has been verified, the user is requested to enter an IC card and to specify the amount of electronic money to be deposited. Electronic money of the specified amount is drawn from the IC card and deposited in an account of the user by transferring the drawn electronic money to an electronic value box in a bank business system by way of a communication line. Thus, the transaction to deposit electronic money can be carried out in combination with a cash card in an automatic teller machine.

    摘要： In a value box in an electronic money system with a high reliability which is excellent in usage efficiency and maintenance, a front door and a rear door are provided before and after a main body portion and an indicator is provided to show operating states of a door locking key and a whole value box, particularly, a state in which a trouble or the like has occurred in the value box and a maintenance is necessary is provided for the front door. A communication line for transmitting information regarding power source lines and electronic money for a number of IC card readers/writers provided in the main body is connected to the rear door. The front door can be opened by hinges. A number of IC card readers/writers are enclosed in the main body portion. IC card inserting slots of IC cards for those IC card readers/writers are arranged and provided in the front surface of the main body portion at two upper and lower stages. An IC card operation indicator is provided in correspondence to each IC card inserting slot.
