    摘要: The fuel-injection device is characterized by an especially low-noise design. The fuel-injection device includes at least one fuel injector and a fuel rail having at least one pipe connection, the fuel injector being introduced into a receiving bore of the pipe connection, and the fuel rail having a discharge opening to supply fuel to the fuel injector. Provided between the fuel injector and the fuel rail is a pressure-wave guide connecting both, in such a way such that dynamic pressure fluctuations in the fuel injector are able to be routed largely past the volume of the receiving bore of the pipe connection. The fuel-injection device is especially suitable for the direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine having external ignition, but it is also suitable for the injection of fuel into an intake manifold.

    摘要: A heat exchanger comprises an evacuated reaction chamber (2, 2′, 23, 33) containing at least one reaction medium and a storage chamber (25, 35) containing an activation medium which reacts with the reaction medium in such a way as to modify the temperature. The reaction chamber and the storage chamber can be brought into a communicating relationship, whereby the reaction medium and the activation medium are contacted with each other and the temperature-modifying reaction is triggered. The reaction chamber (2, 2′, 23, 33) is defined by walls made of a vacuum-tight material (3), which walls are kept at a distance from each other, at least in sections, by supporting bodies (4, 7, 10), with the supporting bodies (4, 7, 9, 10) keeping free transport paths (5, 8) for the reaction medium (11) inside the reaction chamber. The vacuum-tight material (3) forming the walls of the reaction chamber is designed as a flexible film, preferably a composite film.

A system includes a matching engine configured to receive first and second results provided by first and second attribute-matching strategies. The matching engine is further configured to scale the first result by a first weight factor that indicates a first level of quality of a first attribute value and to scale the second result by a second weight factor that indicates a second level of quality of a second attribute value. The matching engine is further configured to combine the first and second scaled results to produce an overall result characterizing the similarity between the first and second objects.

    摘要: A valve actuator for operating a gas exchange valve of an internal combustion engine has a sleeve-shaped positioning piston which is connected to a valve stem, has at least two shell-shaped wedge pieces enclosing a stem end of the valve stem, whose radially outer peripheral surfaces have a conical segment which tapers off with increasing distance from the gas exchange valve and which is at least partially surrounded by a conical clamping sleeve having a mating conical inner surface and is connected to the positioning piston. The wedge pieces are axially form-fittingly and rotatably connected to a threaded bolt. A threaded segment is provided on the threaded bolt via which the wedge pieces and the conical clamping sleeve are axially attachable to one another.

The opening motion of the gas exchange valve then ensues at reduced force. Upon closure of the gas exchange valve, the gas exchange valve is braked before striking the valve seat, so that operation of the gas exchange valve with little wear and little noise can be achieved.

    摘要: The present document describes a sensing apparatus for lowering into a well and cementing therein at a certain depth. The sensing apparatus comprises an elongated casing and a sensor device protruding from an outside surface of the elongated casing for generating measurement data and sending the data to the surface of the well using a cable extending from the sensor device along the outside surface of the casing. A flow of cement is provided between the outside surface of the casing and the well for cementing the casing in place and isolating different layers of the well. Presence of the sensor device and the cable creates an obstruction within the flow path of the cement which may result in the formation of micro-annulus around the sensor device and the cable. In order to address this problem, a plurality of fins is provided around the casing, the fins being shaped to cause a straight flow of cement received at the fins to rotate around the longitudinal axis of the casing when exiting the fins for increasing cement flow between the elongated casing and its surrounding environment to mitigate micro-annulus formation. Another means to address this problem is to provide cable attachments which distance the cable from the casing and thereby let cement flow between the cable and the casing also mitigating micro-annulus formation.
