摘要： A reproducing apparatus (2) of the present invention receives information of a WEB site from a service-providing server (3) that administrates the WEB site, and reproduces the information. The service-providing server (3) holds identification information (40) of a user of a portable communication apparatus (1) that is permitted to access the WEB site. The reproducing apparatus (2) includes: a data receiving section for receiving, from the portable communication apparatus (1), invitation information (51), identification information (40), and transmission time point information (50); a reproducing apparatus infrared communication section; a destination determination section that establishes a connection to the service-providing server (3) based on the received invitation information (51), and transmits the invitation information (51), the identification information (40), and transmission-instruction time (50); and a reproducing apparatus communication control section. This allows the administrative server to confirm an authorized destination, based on the content request information received from the portable communication apparatus, when a content is provided from the administrative server managing the content.

This allows the administrative server to confirm an authorized destination, based on the content request information received from the portable communication apparatus, when a content is provided from the administrative server managing the content.

摘要： An electronic device (1) constitutes a remote control system (100) together with a remote control device (3) and at least one controlled device (2/2′), and the electronic device (1) includes: a first reception section (20) that receives, from the remote control device, a direct command signal (7/7′) broadcasted to the electronic device and the controlled device; a second reception section (23) that receives, from the controlled device, an indirect command signal (8) having been generated by the controlled device according to the direct command signal having been received from the remote control device; and a control section (10) including signal selecting means (31) that selects one intended command signal to which a response is needed from a signal group according to a predetermined rule, the signal group consisting of the direct command signal having been received by the first reception section and the indirect command signal having been received by the second reception section. This makes it possible to properly select and process a signal to be followed in the electronic device where a plurality of command signals are redundantly supplied with respect to one command signal from the remote control device.

摘要： A picture display apparatus, comprising: a synthesizing section for synthesizing divided screens to display a plurality of pictures on a single screen; a menu display section for displaying a menu in which a list of options is displayed, the options enabling a user to select a change to be made to at least one of a number, shapes, relative sizes, and relative positions of the divided screens and types of the pictures, so that the user can select from the options to switch to a corresponding screen arrangement; an icon display section for displaying an icon indicating a border between the divided screens in association with the options; and a border changing section for updating the divided screens according to a change in position of the border, wherein the icon display section displays the icon indicating a result of the change in position of the border before the border changing section updates the divided screens according to the change in position of the border. Thus, the user is informed of what the screen will look like before entering a change of the border.
