摘要： A system is provided including a first detection unit detecting a position of a first terminal, a second detection unit detecting a position of a second terminal, and a notification area determination unit determining a notification area based on the detected position of the second terminal, wherein, within the notification area, position information regarding the position of the first terminal is not notified. The system also includes a first route prediction unit predicting a route from a position of the first terminal to the notification area, a time calculation unit calculating a time period required for arriving at the notification area when the first terminal travels along the predicted route, and a notification unit permitting the notification when the first terminal does not arrive at the notification area after the time period elapses from the current time, and suppressing the notification while the time period does not elapse.

摘要： Conventional notification systems have a poor operability since a notification is transmitted every time a child moves outside a predetermined area. Provided is a notification system comprising: a first position detection unit (101) which detects a position of a first terminal (120) used by a child A; a second position detection unit (111) which detects a position of a second terminal (121) used by a parent C; a notification control area determination unit (114) which determines a notification control area based on the position detected by the second position detection unit (111), the notification control area being an area in which position information regarding the position of the child A is not notified; a first traveling route prediction unit (138) which predicts a traveling route from a current position of the child A to the notification control area; a required-for-return time period calculation unit (113) which calculates a required-for-return time period representing a time period required for arriving at the notification control area in the case where the child A travels along the predicted traveling route; and a notification control unit (106) which permits the notification in the case where the child A does not arrive at the notification control area even after the required-for-return time period elapses from the current time, and suppresses the notification while the required-for-return time period does not elapse.

A destination prediction apparatus which predicts a destination of a mobile object includes: a stay characteristic accumulating unit (103) in which stay characteristic information indicating a time period when the mobile object will likely stay at a predetermined point is accumulated; a travel time calculating unit (104) which calculates a travel time in the case where the mobile object heads from a current location obtained by a current point obtaining unit (101) to the point; and a destination predicting unit (106) which calculates an estimated arrival time based on a current time obtained by a current time obtaining unit (105) and the calculated travel time and predicts the point as a destination only when a condition that the calculated estimated arrival time and a time period indicated by the stay characteristic information is satisfied.
