摘要: A control rod carrying a pawl actuating cam is formed with a pin. A cam lever mounted on a driver operable brake actuator shaft includes a cam surface engageable with the pin for movement of the rod toward and away from the brake applying position. A yieldable lost motion connection is provided between the brake actuator shaft and the cam lever or between the control rod and the pawl actuating cam.

摘要: A spring-loaded cam plate having a raised portion is mounted on a brake pawl outer surface opposite to its inner toothed surface to be pivotable relative to the pawl along the outer surface. A driver operable control rod is formed with cylindrical and semicylindrical portions which are engageable with the raised cam portion of the cam plate to urge the brake pawl into and out of engagement with a brake gear.
