摘要: In a mold clamping apparatus, a mold clamping mechanism is provided with a half nut, and a tie bar is provided with circumferential groove configured to meshed with the teeth of the half nut. A strong-force mold opening mechanism that opens molds at an initial stage of mold opening extends across a space separating a movable platen and the mold clamping mechanism and is connected to the movable platen and the mold clamping mechanism. The strong-force mold opening mechanism is set so as to have greater axial force and shorter stroke than those of a mold opening and closing mechanism. A control unit controls opening and closing of the half nut, controls the strong-force mold opening mechanism and controls the position of the half nut in such a way that the half nut is synchronized with the circumferential groove by the strong-force mold opening mechanism.

摘要: An injection molding apparatus has a mold clamping device that includes a traction platen disposed below a pressure-receiving platen, a movable platen disposed above the pressure-receiving platen and configured to be moved up and down by a mold opening and closing mechanism, and tie bars extending downward from the movable platen and penetrating the pressure-receiving platen and the traction platen. The mold clamping device is configured to clamp molds disposed between the pressure-receiving platen and the movable platen. Each tie bar has a tooth portion at its lower end that engages with a tooth portion of a half nut connected to an underside of the traction plate. An injection device arranged on the movable platen includes a heating cylinder having a screw for feeding resin material through a nozzle to an upper one of the molds, and a purging cover encloses a space between the lower end portion of the heating cylinder and the movable platen.

A shaft supporting plate is fixed to the ends of the tie bars and terminates at its lower end portion in two spaced-apart shoes that have flat bottom surfaces in direct sliding contact with the base. The flat bottom surface of each shoe has a larger area than the cross-sectional area of the shaft supporting plate situated vertically above the shoe.

摘要: A horizontal mold clamping mechanism includes a rail disposed on a base, a slider fitted with the rail, and a pedestal placed on the slider and provided with a sub-slider guided by a sub-rail. A fixed platen secured to the base supports a fixed mold. A mold clamping cylinder is secured to the pedestal and laid parallel to the fixed platen. A mold opening/closing actuator connects to the pedestal for moving the mold clamping cylinder. A movable platen is secured to the sub-slider and disposed between the fixed platen and the clamping cylinder. A tie-bar passes through the movable platen and the clamping cylinder, and a first linking mechanism selectively links the clamping cylinder to the tie-bar. The movable platen has a through-hole with a diameter greater than an outer diameter of the tie-bar to provide a clearance preventing slide-contact between the tie-bar and an inner surface of the through-hole.
