摘要: A method and system for wireless ECG monitoring is provided. An electrode connector, transmitter and receiver operate with existing electrodes and ECG monitors. The electrode connector includes connectors for attaching to disposable or reusable single electrodes. The transmitter transmits the signals from the electrodes to the receiver. The receiver passes the electrode signals to the ECG monitor for processing. ECG monitors used with an electrical conductor, for example wire connections to electrodes, are connected with the receiver, avoiding the purchase of a new monitor. Any legacy ECG monitor, including different ECG monitors, connects with the receiver using the ECG monitor's lead-wires. The ECG monitor operates as if directly connected to the electrodes without the problems discussed above associated with wires running from the ECG monitor to the patient.

摘要: The invention provides, in one aspect, a multimedia content sharing system that includes (i) a shared content server which stores items of content (such as still, moving images and audio) and (ii) a plurality of nodes, each of which is in communications with the shared content server via cellular telephone and/or other data networks. One or more of those nodes can be a headless communications device, such as a modem, that can be removeably coupled with a host for purposes of displaying such items of content. Other nodes can be mobile phones, personal digital assistants, network-enabled digital picture frames, personal computers, with integral or other attendant displays for those items. The shared content server transmits items of content to a first set of the nodes “automatically,” e.g., without requests by users of those nodes for the items. At least one node in that first set displays the content of received items (e.g., on an LCD screen) and accepts user feedback in regard to those items. That feedback—which may be, for example, a command to copy an item into an “album”, to rotate an item on the display, to block another node from displaying the items, and/or to block a sender (or creator) of the item from sending further items of content from presenting—is transmitted back to the shared content server for distribution to other nodes, which alter their own respective displays of the items accordingly.

摘要: A backing for an ornamental pin including a tab extended backwards at an angle. Said tab allows ornamental pin to become a display, and vice versa. Includes at least one hole configured to receive at least one type of pin back, including but not limited to needle style pins and locking pin mechanisms. Backing is substantially rigid to allow for standing function. Tab may be adjustable, but still fixable at an angle. Tab may be rigidly fixed at a particular angle. May include grip section for ease of use. Grip section may also enable the pin to lay more uniformly against a user's clothing when ornamental pin is used as such.
