摘要： A single remote controller is provided that is capable of automatically determining a digital or analog control method as a remote controller control method for digital video cameras. According to the present invention, a remote controller for a digital video camera is provided that includes: a zoom volume configured to operate zoom of the digital video camera; a microcomputer circuit configured to convert an operation signal of the zoom volume to a communication signal; and an automatic switching circuit configured to automatically switch between sending of the operation signal of the zoom volume to the digital video camera not through the microcomputer circuit and sending of the communication signal, obtained by inputting the operation signal to the microcomputer circuit, to the digital video camera.
