摘要: Disclosed is a device for injecting fuel into an intake air supply passage which is communicated with the combustion chambers of an internal combustion engine. The device comprises: a swingable throttle shaft having a hole formed therein along a longitudinal axis thereof and traversing an intake air supply passage; a throttle valve plate fixed to the throttle shaft for throttling the intake air supply passage so that the throttle valve plate can vary the opening of the air supply passage due to the swing of the throttle shaft; and a fuel injection outlet portion formed at the proximity of the surface of the throttle valve plate and communicated with one of the hole. Fuel supplied from the fuel injection outlet portion is uniformly admixed with the air flow which is caused to contract by the throttle valve plate.

摘要: A variable venturi type carburetor of an internal combustion engine which includes a housing, a bore extending through the housing and having an inner wall defining an intake passage, a suction piston movably mounted in the housing and having a head portion projecting into the intake passage and a fuel injection valve. The suction piston moves so as to change the cross-sectional area of the venturi portion defined between the head portion of the suction piston and an inner wall of the intake passage. A pipe member connected to the fuel injection valve is opened to the intake passage in a position opposite the head portion with regard to the intake passage. The fuel injected from the injection valve is supplied through the pipe member to the intake passage.

摘要: A perpendicular magnetic recording medium comprises a recording medium base, a lower layer formed on the recording medium base, and an upper layer formed on the lower layer. The lower layer is made of a first material including cobalt, chromium and one or more elements other than cobalt and chromium. On the other hand, the upper layer is made of a second material including cobalt, chromium and one or more elements other than cobalt and chromium. A quantity of the one or more elements added to cobalt and chromium making up the second material is less than a quantity of the one or more elements added to cobalt and chromium making up the first material.

摘要: An angle change detector which can also be used as an inclination angle detector comprises a pair of opposing magnets, a sector-shaped pendulum made of an electroconductive non-magnetic material and swingable past a spacing between the opposing magnets, and a pair of photosensors disposed on both side edges of the pendulum. Each photosensor comprises a light emitting diode and a phototransistor disposed on both sides of the pendulum. Output signals of the phototransistors are compared with a reference signal for producing an output signal corresponding to the degree of swinging of the pendulum.

摘要: A voice signal converting device is adapted for a digital communication network which handles digitized voice signals and data signals simultaneously or equally. A bit for discriminating whether a signal in communication is a voice signal or a data signal is applied in a digital signal channel. The voice signal converting device is connected to a digital communication path to detect the discrimination bit from the incoming signal in such a manner that when a bit group corresponding to the discrimination bit represents the voice signal, the bit group is converted into a predeterminedly correlated bit group and delivered out and when the bit group corresponding to the discrimination bit represents the data signal, this bit group is delivered out in its original form. Consequently, even when the voice signal and the data signal coexist in one communication, speech quality of the voice signal and bit integrity of the data signal can be guaran

摘要: Air is blown into a combustion furnace via an inlet disposed in the upper section of the furnace and the incoming air is made to flow in a fixed spirally descending path along the inner wall of the furnace proper. Material subjected to combustion is carried by the flow of air to the layer of burning material at the bottom of the furance by previously deposited combustible material, there to be burnt. By virtue of the action of the current of air, the combustion gas from the combustion is vigorously whirled upwardly in the same rotational direction as that of the air current in the annular region defined by the fixed path of the spirally descending air current. This ascending current of air is enclosed within the annular region defined by the descending current. While the combustion gas is thus being whirled upwardly, the solid particles such as soot and other products of incomplete combustion which are entrained by the ascending combustion gas are caused by centrifugal force to pass into the spirally descending air flow. Therefore, by the time the waste gas from the combustion is finally released from the combustion furnace into the ambience, it is substantially free from soot and dust.

摘要: A high moisture absorbent nonwoven fabric structure comprising a moisture absorbing layer mainly consisting of high moisture absorbent fibers, and surface sheets sandwiching the moisture absorbing layer to constitute a three-layer structure. The high moisture absorbent fibers gel on the surfaces thereof by absorbing water and/or moisture to develop a self-bonding force. The high moisture absorbent nonwoven fabric has an absorptivity, after five hours at 20° C. and relative humidity of 65%, of at least 20 wt. %, at least one of the surface sheets has breathability, and the self-bonding force of high moisture absorbent fibers ensures bonding between fibers in the moisture absorbing layer and between the moisture absorbing layer and the surface sheets. The high moisture absorbent nonwoven fabric structure, which is high in hygroscopicity, applicable to a small space, and easily recyclable by heat treating nonwoven fabrics after moisture absorbed, can be used in a variety of fields such as desiccants and dehumidifying agents.
