摘要： A riding type mower includes: a vehicle body, a driver's seat mounted on the vehicle body; an operation part arranged around the driver's seat; a mower unit provided on the vehicle body; a shutter for closing a discharge port; a shutter moving mechanism for moving the shutter between a close position closing the discharge port and an open position opening the discharge port; and a lock mechanism for locking the shutter at the close position. The mower unit includes: a mower deck; a cutting blade installed inside the mower deck; the discharge port formed in the mower deck, through which mown grass cut by the blade is discharge from the mower unit to outside. A shutter operating tool for remotely operating the shutter moving mechanism to open and close the shutter is provided in the operation part. The lock mechanism is remotely operable from the operation part.

摘要： A grass collecting apparatus for a lawn mower comprises a frame (22) supported by a vehicle body, a container supporting member (26) for supporting a grass collecting container (21) for storing grass clippings and including a container supporting surface (27) for receiving an opening edge of the grass collecting container, and a container cover (23) mounted on the frame to be oscillatable about a horizontal axis between a closed position and an opened position. An engaging member (35) is mounted on the container cover (23). The engaging member (35) is engageable with the opening edge (21b) of the grass collecting container (21) with oscillation of the container cover (23) from the opened position to the closed position, thereby positioning and maintaining the grass collecting container (21) on the container supporting member (26), and disengageable from the opening edge (21b) of the grass collecting container (21) with oscillation of the container cover (23) from the closed position to the opened position.

摘要： A grass/lawn mower vehicle having a mower unit, and mechanism for transporting grass clippings cut by the mower unit through a suitable duct. The vehicle includes a grass catcher for collecting the grass clippings transported through the duct, a lid for opening and closing an opening of the grass catcher, a horizontal axis for connecting the grass catcher and the lid to be pivotable relative to each other, and a control mechanism for raising the grass catcher relative to the vehicle and swinging the grass catcher about the horizontal axis, thereby allowing the grass catcher to dump the grass clippings from an elevated position. The control mechanism includes a parallelogram link mechanism having one side thereof connected to the vehicle, and the other side connected to the lid, and an actuator for moving the link mechanism between a lower position and an upper position, and swinging the grass catcher when the link mechanism is in the upper position.

摘要： A lawn mower for directing grass clippings to a grass catcher. The lawn mower includes a vehicle body and a mower unit supported by the vehicle body to be vertically movable for varying a height thereof above the ground. The mower unit includes a housing, cutting blades rotatable about vertical shafts, and a grass clippings discharge channel connected to the housing and opening downward for rearwardly directing grass clippings cut by the cutting blades. The lawn mower further includes a grass collecting duct for connecting a discharge opening of the grass clippings discharge channel to the grass catcher, and a receiving plate having a receiving surface for covering the downward opening of the grass clippings discharge channel. The receiving plate is pivotable about a transverse shaft between a grass clippings guiding position in which the receiving surface extends parallel to a flow of grass clippings through the grass clippings discharge channel and a grass clippings removing position in which the receiving surface has a large tilt angle relative to the ground. A swing range limiting mechanism is provided for reducing a swing range of the receiving plate as the mower unit is lowered relative to the ground.

摘要： A mower with a grass catcher (10) for collecting grass clippings transmitted from a mower unit. The grass catcher has an inlet opening (12) in a front position thereof, and an outlet opening (13) and an openable lid (14) in a rear position. The grass catcher (10) is connected to the rear end of a vehicle body to be supported in a suspended state by a grass catcher support unit (100). The support unit includes mounting posts (9) attached to the rear end of the vehicle body and extending upward, and a support link mechanism (20) for interconnecting upper regions of the mounting posts and lower rearward regions of the grass catcher, and for switching the grass catcher between a grass clippings collecting posture with the inlet opening directed forwardly of the vehicle body, and a raised dumping posture with the outlet opening directed downward. The support link mechanism performs a switching process for switching the grass catcher from the grass clippings collecting posture to the raised dumping posture. The switching process includes a translating process for translating the grass catcher obliquely rearward and upward while maintaining the grass catcher substantially parallel to the grass clippings collecting posture, and a rotating process for rotating the grass catcher until the outlet opening is directed downward.
