Abstract:
Example implementations relate to devices, methods, and computer program products of communication networks in relation to, e.g., involved in initial access from an idle status, connection reestablishment, handover, or synchronization. A terminal apparatus may include: a control module configured to detect receipt of a group information indicative of a group of at least two network apparatuses, the group information being descriptive for a certain configuration of communication parameters enabling the terminal apparatus to communicate with anyone of the network apparatuses of the respective group, and request connecting to at least one of the network apparatuses of the group by use of the certain configuration.

Abstract:
There is a method including receiving, at a first network node, information from a relay node associated with the first network node. The information includes an indication of at least one second network node neighboring the first network node. Parameter information of the at least one second network node is determined on the basis of the indication. The parameter information is uniquely mapped to the relay node and indicates current available resources of the at least one second network node for the relay node. Apparatus and computer program products are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A method including maintaining a database of unique radio network identifiers within a home node B gateway, wherein the unique radio network identifier uniquely identifies the radio network termination point of user equipment attached to a radio node controlled by the home node B gateway.
Abstract:
The present invention proposes a User Equipment UE, which includes a transceiver module for cellular communication based on communication links enabled on at least two different access technologies, and a control module, wherein the control module is configured to detect a first event, namely a connection failure on a communication link established using a first access technology, to start, triggered by the detection, a timer, to discern a second event, namely reconnection of a communication link established after the first event and using a first or a second access technology, to stop, triggered by the discerning, the timer and to compose a report, wherein the report includes at least an information element indicative of the time counted by the timer. Likewise, the present invention encompasses a corresponding method and a respective computer program product.
Abstract:
Methods, apparatus and computer program products are disclosed for enhancing mobility robustness optimization in self optimizing networks. Neighbor relation information indicating relations between a handover source cell and candidate handover target cell(s), each including a first counter indicating events of an unsuccessful handover of a user equipment from the handover source cell to one candidate handover target cell, and a second counter indicating events of connection re-establishment attempt of the user equipment to the candidate handover target cell after an unsuccessful handover to another cell. A first candidate handover target cell to which handover of the user equipment was unsuccessful and a second candidate handover target cell to which the user equipment has re-established a connection, out of the candidate handover target cells, are determined. The first counter and/or the second counter of the neighbor relation information concerning the determined first and second candidate handover target cells is updated.

Abstract:
A method and a device for data processing in a mobile are provided, wherein a handover parameter of at least one cell is negotiated between a first cell and a second cell based on a load situation at the first cell and/or at the second cell.
Abstract:
Apparatuses and methods are provided by which a user equipment receives information enabling handover and/or apparatus type identification related to a handover, and stores the information enabling handover and/or apparatus type identification. In case of a connection failure, the stored information enabling handover and/or apparatus type identification may later be used to evaluate the cause for the connection failure.
