摘要: Systems, methods and apparatus a provided for calibrating actual output power of a transmit power sensor for closed loop power control using a quality metric such as error vector magnitude (EVM) to improve power detection accuracy. In aspects, a method for correlating an output of a transmit power sensor with actual output power of a wireless transmitter includes deriving a characteristic correlation between an actual output power of a set of transmit amplifiers and an output power and of a set of corresponding power detection circuits over a range of transmit power levels in a corresponding set of wireless devices; storing the characteristic correlation in a wireless device that is not part of the set from which the characteristic correlation was derived; and sensing an output of a transmit power sensor of the device while the transmitter of the device transmits according to one or more gain settings.

摘要: A WCDMA enabled user equipment device configured to have functions collectively or selectively idle to conserve power. A discontinuous receiver is used to detect and read network messages and report the messages to the host processor within the WCDMA enabled user equipment device. The host processor then activates functions previously powered down to receive incoming messages for the user of the WCDMA device. The discontinuous receiver is also used when the WCDMA device is active to read network messages, freeing a modem of the device to operate on user messaging; and therefore, enhancing user related performance.

摘要: An umbrella valve includes an elastic cap, and an elastic stem formed integrally with the cap, having a center hollow portion, having an enlarged hollow portion proximate the cap, and having a bottom. The valve has a needle having an enlarged head at a proximal end thereof for being snugly secured in the enlarged hollow portion of the stem, having a lower lateral hole in a distal portion, having an upper lateral hole proximate the bottom of the stem, and having a lengthwise center passageway connecting the upper and lower lateral holes. A method includes providing a needle for being snugly secured in one of a plurality of elastic caps, the needle having a lengthwise center passageway connecting upper and lower lateral holes. The method includes selecting a cap from among the plurality of elastic caps by determining opening pressure factors.

摘要: Dynamic adjustment of searcher thresholds used to detect propagation paths of a communications signal transmitted from a transmitter to the base band receiver. Interference signal code power (ISCP) measurements of the communications signal are obtained from a database communicatively coupled with the base band receiver, wherein contents of the database are associated with a physical layer. A scaler is calculated based on the ISCP measurements only. The searcher thresholds, which are stored in the database, are adjusted using the scaler. The adjusted searcher thresholds are then stored in the database.

摘要: A method, apparatus and print process control strip determine a curing level of printing inks on printing material. Conventional measuring areas of a print process control strip are always formed by tonal value combinations of individual, reliably thoroughly dried, printing inks, in particular when using intermediate dryers. Measuring the measuring areas furnishes no more accurate information with regard to the curing level of ink combinations in the actual printed image which differ from the combinations of the measuring areas of the print process control strip. A level-of-curing control area is provided, which is formed by overprinting preferably at least four printing inks, in each case in full tone, to obtain statements relating to the curing level of the printing inks with the print process control strip. Measuring the level-of-curing control area provides information about the curing level of all printing ink combinations in the printed image.
