Each receiver measures its own battery need for power and transmits that measurement as a request to the transmitter. The transmitter is configured to normalize and compare battery need requests. 摘要: A Timing Acquisition Module (TAM) associated with a wireless power transmission systems (WPTS) is disclosed herein. The TAM is configured to receive encoded beacons broadcast by wireless power receiver clients requesting power on demand. The TAM decodes the encoded beacons to identify respective client broadcast and notifies the WPTS that a client is requesting power. In turn, the WPTS transmits wireless power signals to the client. The WPTS and client may use separate beacons or signals to command the client to broadcast its WPTS beacon. Phases of a beacon are detected by antennas in the WPTS antenna array, and based on the beacon, the wireless power signals are transmitted from the WPTS to the client. Multiple apparatus including a combination of a WPTS and TAM may be implemented in a wireless power environment in a cooperative manner, enabling a client to move within the environment while supporting power on demand.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for receiving wireless power and providing wired power. In some embodiments, a wirelessly chargeable battery apparatus comprises a housing and one or more antennas situated within the housing. The antennas are configured to receive wireless radio frequency (RF) power from a wireless charging system. One or more electronic circuit boards (PCBs) situated within the housing are included, and the one or more electronic circuit boards are configured to convert the received wireless RF power to direct current (DC) power. The apparatus also comprises one or more batteries configured to store the DC power and a port configured to couple with a cable external to the housing and to provide stored DC power from the one or more batteries to the cable.

摘要: Techniques are described for authenticating device in wireless power delivery environments. In some embodiments, a request for energy delivery is received from devices. The request may include an identifier, e.g., a client identification (ID). The charger may query a remotely located authentication platform via a network with the client ID. The authentication platform compares the client ID against devices that have been registered within the system. If the device is properly provisioned, the authentication platform may return an acceptance of authentication to the charger. In addition to device authentication, the current disclosure covers the ability to control the environment within a wireless network, and perform system diagnostics by monitoring the network environment.
