摘要： A base assembly is provided for a meter socket assembly of a meter center including an enclosure having a panel member. The meter socket assembly includes a meter. The base assembly includes a base member having a first side coupled to the panel member, a second side disposed opposite and distal from the first side, and first and second ends. Meter jaws are disposed on the second side of the base member and receive the meter. Electrical bus members are coupled to the base member at or about the first side thereof, and are electrically connected to at least one of the meter jaws at or about the second side thereof. The electrical bus members are coupled to and supported by the base member of the base assembly, without the use of a number of separate fasteners. A meter socket assembly and meter center are also disclosed.

摘要： A meter socket assembly includes a base member, a meter and at least one electrical bus member. The base member is coupled to the panel member of a meter center and includes first and second ends, a first side having protrusions, and a second side including meter jaws for receiving the meter. Each electrical bus member includes a first end extending outwardly from the first end of the base member, a second end distal from the first end and electrically connected to at least one of the meter jaws, and a plurality of bends between the first and second ends to define a first portion disposed at or about the first end, a second portion disposed at or about the second end, and an intermediate portion extending therebetween. Recesses on the intermediate portion engage the protrusions of the base member to couple the electrical bus member to the base member.

摘要： A clamp-jaw contact assembly is for a meter socket including a socket block having plurality of meter socket receptacles. The clamp-jaw contact assembly includes a stationary contact structured to engage a corresponding one of the meter socket receptacles, a moveable contact pivotally coupled to the stationary contact by a pivot member, such as a rivet, and a clamping element which is coupled to the stationary contact and includes an integral jaw spring. The integral jaw spring biases the moveable contact toward the stationary contact in order to secure a meter bayonet therebetween. The moveable contact also has a closed position in which it resists insertion of the meter bayonet between the moveable contact and the stationary contact.

摘要： A jumper cable for use with electrical meter sockets includes an improved clamp at each end. The clamp includes a substantially coaxial threaded rod, threadedly secured to a movable jaw that may move between an open position and a closed position, guided between a pair of guide surfaces that are angled in an orientation that is not parallel to the threaded rod. The movable jaw may therefore be caused to be move laterally by rotating a knob at the end of the threaded rod that is located at the end of the clamp opposite the jaws, where it will provide the best access to itself, and minimize interference with meter removal.

摘要： A base assembly is provided for a power pedestal including an elongated housing and a plurality of electrical conductors enclosable by the elongated housing. The elongated housing has a first end and a second end disposed opposite and distal from the first end. The second end of the base member is structured to be coupled to a platform. A connecting mechanism, such as a hinge assembly, is disposed at or about the first end of the base member and removably couples the first end of the elongated housing to the base member without a number of separate fasteners, thereby facilitating removal of the elongated housing from the base member. An electrical bus mount may be removably coupled to a mounting surface of the base member.
