    摘要: Various embodiments include methods and apparatuses for responding to a page message for a mobile-terminated call by a wireless communication device using a single radio Long-term Evolution (LTE) mode. A wireless communication device may receive the page message for the mobile-terminated call, release resources of the wireless communication device owned by a non-LTE voice radio access technology receiving the page message, and execute an extended service request by an LTE radio access technology. The wireless communication device may search for a network for responding to the page message after the extended service request is completed. The network may be from a set of networks including a serving pilot network, a preapproved pilot network, and an unapproved pilot network, and each of the pilot networks may belong to a first base station. The wireless communication device may send a page message response using the network in response to finding the network.

    摘要: Systems, methods and apparatus for optimizing machine-to-machine device performance are provided. In one aspect, a method comprises acquiring a pilot signal and determining a clock drift of the device based on the acquired pilot signal. The method further comprises selectively adjusting the frequency with which the device reacquires the pilot signal based at least in part on the determined clock drift. The slot cycle index is reduced when the determined clock drift is greater than a first predetermined fraction of a reacquisition window size. The slot cycle index is reduced when an anticipated clock drift of the device is greater than a second predetermined fraction of a reacquisition window size and the device fails to reacquire the pilot signal, the device is handed off, a finger energy is less than a first predetermined threshold, or a channel estimate value is less than a second predetermined threshold.

    摘要: Various embodiments provide methods implemented in a mobile communication device (e.g., a multi-RAT communication device) for maintaining at least one separate RGS value for each of a plurality of RATs operating on the mobile communication device. Specifically, a device processor on the mobile communication device (e.g., a crystal oscillator manager) may maintain a separate, up-to-date RGS value for each of the plurality of RATs and may associate each of the plurality of RATs with their respective RGS values. By keeping track of the plurality of RATs' respective RGS values, the device processor may ensure that an appropriate RGS value is used to facilitate each RAT's individual operations, such as acquisition/re-acquisition operations, sleep scheduling calculations, and handover/inter-RAT measurement operations. As a result, various embodiments may improve the performance of each RAT and the overall performance of the mobile communication device.

    摘要: Methods and apparatuses are presented for acquiring a wireless system by a multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) user equipment (UE). For example, an example method for acquiring a wireless system is presented that includes conducting, by a first subscription corresponding to a first SIM of the UE, a call using a shared radio resource of the UE. In addition, the example method may include predicting, upon completion of the call, a pilot timing error and a frequency error associated with a pilot signal of a network associated with a second subscription corresponding to a second SIM of the UE. In addition, the example method may include attempting to acquire the pilot signal based on the pilot timing error and the frequency error. As such, the example method may allow the multi-SIM UE to more quickly acquire a wireless system relative to legacy methods. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.
