摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for location measurement reporting in a wireless network are disclosed. An apparatus of a responder station (RSTA) is disclosed, the apparatus comprising processing circuitry configured to decode a null data packet (NDP) announce (NDPA) frame from an initiator station (ISTA), the NDPA frame comprising an indication of a temporary key and an identification of the RSTA. The processing circuitry further configured to decode a NDP from the ISTA, the NDP comprising long training fields (LTFs), the NDP received on a channel. The processing circuitry further configured to determine whether the NDP from the ISTA is consistent with the NDP being generated using a temporary key shared between the ISTA and RSTA based on a comparison of the channel estimates. The processing circuitry may be further configured to determine for authentication whether the indication of the temporary key was generated based on the temporary key.

An apparatus of an initiator station (ISTA), where the apparatus comprises processing circuitry configured to decode a null data packet (NDP) announce (NDPA) frame from an initiator station (ISTA), the NDPA frame comprising a dialog token and an identification of a temporary key. The processing circuitry may be further configured to decode a first NDP from the ISTA, the NDP comprising first long training fields (LTFs), and wherein the NDP is received on a channel and encode a second NDP, the second NDP comprising second LTFs, wherein the second LTFs are determined based at least on the temporary key. The processing circuitry may be further configured to encode a location measurement report (LMR), the LMR comprising the dialog token and an indication of the temporary key.

摘要: Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA) and method of sounding are generally described herein. The AP may transmit, during a transmission opportunity (TXOP), a trigger frame (TF) to indicate that an STA is to transmit an uplink sounding packet during an uplink sounding period of the TXOP. The AP may attempt to detect the uplink sounding packet during the uplink sounding period. If the uplink sounding packet is not detected during the uplink sounding period, the AP may transmit a recovery packet to cause other STAs to determine a busy condition during the uplink sounding period. If the uplink sounding packet is detected during the uplink sounding period, the AP may determine a channel estimate for the STA based at least partly on the uplink sounding packet.

An apparatus of a responder station is disclosed, the apparatus comprising processing circuitry configured to derive bits from a temporary key, and generate a first sequence and a second sequence using the bits, wherein the first sequence and second sequence comprise one or more symbols. The processing circuitry is further configured to concatenate the first sequence and the second sequence to form a new first sequence comprising the first sequence and the second sequence, and concatenate a modified first sequence and a modified second sequence to form a new second sequence. The processing circuitry may be configured to repeat a number of times the concatenate the first sequence through the concatenate the modified first sequence.

The processing circuitry may be further configured to: decode a second NDP, the second NDP received from the RSTA, wherein the second NDP is received at a time T4, and decode a first location measurement report (LMR). The processing circuitry may be further configured to in response to an ISTA-to-RSTA LMR feedback agreement between the RSTA and ISTA indicating the ISTA is to send a second LMR, encode a second LMR.

The device may cause to send the NDP frame to an initiating or a responding device. The device may cause to send a location measurement report (LMR) frame to the initiating or the responding device, wherein the LMR comprises timing information associated with the first frequency band and the second frequency band.
