Abstract: An object of the present invention is to shorten time required for detecting disconnection in an input terminal of an A/D conversion circuit. A semiconductor device includes a first input channel that couples a first input terminal and an A/D conversion unit to each other, a second input channel that couples a second input terminal and the A/D conversion unit to each other, and a control circuit unit that separates the second input channel from the second input terminal and the A/D conversion unit to charge or discharge the second input channel when a signal input into the first input terminal is sampled by the A/D conversion unit.

Abstract: A semiconductor device (1) includes a first processing unit (10-1), a second processing unit (10-2), a writing unit (12), a storage unit (14), and a processing control unit (20). The writing unit (12) writes first information related to processing of each of the first processing unit (10-1) and the second processing unit (10-2) into the storage unit (14). The processing control unit (20) controls the operations of the first processing unit (10-1) and the second processing unit (10-2). The processing control unit (20) performs control to stop the first processing unit (10-1) when an error occurs in the first processing unit (10-1). When it is determined that the second processing unit (10-2) where an error has not occurred is able to maintain execution of the first processing by using first information stored in the storage unit (14), the second processing unit (10-2) maintains execution of the first processing.

Abstract: A motor driving apparatus includes a first driving control circuit (an MCU, a driving circuit, an input circuit, a power management IC) and a second driving control circuit (an MCU, a driving circuit, an input circuit, a power management IC). The first driving control circuit and the second driving control circuit are configured to drive a corresponding winding group of winding groups of a motor, and have a master mode for outputting a synchronous trigger signal in synchronization with driving of the corresponding winding group and a slave mode for synchronizing the driving of the corresponding winding group with an input synchronous trigger signal. When an error has occurred in an operation of the first driving control circuit in the master mode, the second driving control circuit switches an operation mode of the second driving control circuit from the slave mode to the master mode.
