The mount has a base that is adapted to be secured to an exterior surface of a structure. The mount also has a housing extending from the base that has an opening formed therein to receive an electrical box. The electrical box includes a base, plurality walls extending from the base. The walls have an upper portion, which is received in the opening of the housing such that the electrical box is securely retained. One of the walls of the electrical box defines a second opening formed within the electrical box.

摘要： A molding assembly having a hanger member fixedly securable to an inner or outer wall of a building and a decorative molding insert member releasably engageable with the hanger member. The molding insert member is supported at a lower edge portion by a lower J-channel of the hanger member. An upper L-shaped portion of the insert member is supported by a depending lip portion of the hanger member which forms a second channel such that no external fastening elements are required to secure the molding insert member to the hanger member. The insert member can be quickly and easily releasably engaged within the J-channel and the second channel without the need for special tools. In an alternative preferred embodiment the insert member includes a lip portion which is adapted to slidably engage an under surface of an adjacently positioned insert member to provide an even more continuous appearance for adjacently positioned insert members. An end cover is also disclosed for covering an exposed end portion of the molding assembly when the end portion is secured to a section of a wall where one or more ends of the molding assembly do not abut another wall portion extending perpendicularly from the molding assembly. In an alternative embodiment of the end cover, the end cover includes a shoulder portion formed to protrude from a lower lip portion which engages a notch formed in a lip of a lower J-channel of a hanger member of the present invention. In this manner, once the end cover is releasably secured to the hanger member, the end cover cannot be slidably urged-off of the hanger member such as by thermal expansion of one or more sections of molding insert members.

摘要： An electrical block trim assembly that has a mount, a decorative ring, and a separate electrical box is provided. The mount has a base adapted to be secured to an exterior surface of a structure. The mount also has a housing extending from the base with a top portion that has an opening. Exterior covering, or siding, is attached to the exterior surface to surround a portion of the mount. A decorative ring is secured to the mount over the siding to conceal the edges of the siding that are adjacent to the mount. The decorative ring has an inner perimeter that is adjacent to the housing. An electrical box having walls with an upper portion is securely received and retained within the opening. The electrical box is interposed between the exterior surface and the top portion. The electrical box may be constructed of a different material than the mount and decorative ring.

摘要： A surround molding assembly is disclosed for a doorway window or window of a structure such as a residential home or commercial building. The surround molding assembly may include various embodiments of pilasters, end and corner members, and mantel members that may be fastened to one another or the structure with limited use and visibility of external fasteners. In one embodiment, a decorative molding strip includes a base strip and a decorative strip interconnected by a living hinge. The decorative strip may be pivoted about the living hinge to a closed position over the base strip to hide internally located fasteners. In another embodiment an extension cap is interconnected between a corner member and a decorative molding strip or pilaster without external fasteners. As a result, the molding assemblies of the present invention simplify assembly while providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance free of external fasteners.

摘要： An octagonal plastic window assembly is provided for mounting to an exterior surface of the building wall or doer. The window includes two spaced window panes, one of which is glass and the other plastic. An exterior trim ring is provided to circumscribe the window to give a finished appearance to the exterior of the window. An octagonal liner assembly is provided comprising a plurality of interconnected liner panels connected together by a snap fit and received within a rough opening in a building wall or door. An interior trim ring is provided for attachment to the liner assembly to give a finished appearance to the interior side of the building wall or door. The plastic window assembly can be installed without the use of fasteners.

In one embodiment, first and second pilaster bases receive first and second cover plates in recesses, wherein the recesses have a lip along at least two sides and the cover plates are mounted flush with the pilaster bases and covering the lips. Further, a mantle base having a central portion comprising regularly repeating reinforced sectional structural receives a mantle cover thereover such that the mantle base in generally obscured from view. The pilaster and mantle bases each include decorative ends integrally formed thereon.

摘要： A corner block assembly comprises a corner block and a mortar joint. The corner block has at least two faces arranged in a predefined angular relationship and joined along adjacent edges thereof. Each face has a top flange extending rearwardly from a top edge and at an edge opposite from the joined edge an arm extending rearwardly therefrom. The mortar joint is affixed to the top flanges of the corner block and has at least two legs arranged in a like predefined angular relationship. Each leg has a rear attachment flange for abutting one of the intersecting walls and a front cap spaced from the attachment flange wherein a bottom edge of the front cap abuts at the top of the corner block.

摘要： A surround molding assembly for a doorway or window of a structure such as a residential home or a commercial building. In one embodiment, a decorative molding strip includes a base strip and a decorative strip interconnected by a living hinge. The decorative strip may be pivoted about the living hinge to a closed position over the base strip to hide internally located fasteners. In an embodiment, an extension cap is interconnected between a corner member and a decorative molding strip without external fasteners. In another preferred embodiment, a door surround molding assembly is provided which includes a pair of vertical molding members releasably secured via independent hanger strips along vertical sides of a doorway. The hanger strips include securing portions which releasably interengage with securing portions of the vertical molding members to eliminate the need for nails, threaded screws or like fastening elements to be driven through the vertical molding members to accomplish securing each to a wall portion of a structure. A mantle molding member is provided and fixedly secured over a top portion of the doorway without the need for external fastening elements. An installation support member is arranged within the molding member to support the outer surface of the molding member. An internal corner member is positioned adjacent each end of the mantle molding member and each directs water running onto the mantle molding member away from the doorway. In an alternative embodiment of the present invention a window header assembly is disclosed which incorporates a hanger member having a pair of flexible arm portions. The flexible arm portions are adapted to permit the hanger member to be secured to siding on the exterior surface of a structure such that the hanger member is positioned generally parallel to the siding, and further such that at least two points of contact are provided between the siding and the back surface of the hanger member. In another alternative embodiment a window header assembly is disclosed which is particularly adapted to be secured to a window header of a structure prior to installation of siding on the structure or over brick already installed on the exterior surface of the structure. In yet another alternative embodiment a header assembly is disclosed which is adapted to be secured to an uneven exterior surface of a structure such as aluminum or vinyl siding. A corner molding assembly is adapted for use with pilasters in a window or door surround of a structure having siding. The assembly has a base that is fastened to the structure. A corner block is positioned over the pilasters and siding and is fastened to the base through and access area in a front face portion. A decorative cover plate is secure to the front face portion to conceal the access area. In another aspect of the invention, a decorative trim strips has first and second interlocking ends that may be interlocked with the ends of other trim strips to make a continuous trim strip and eliminate gaps caused by expansion found to occur in conventional mitered joints. Another trim assembly, including a base having a decorative portion and a ring are used to conceal a base flange. The trim assembly may be used in conjunction with a mantle assembly to provide a decorative molding that directs water away from a door or window.
