摘要: Disclosed herein are methods and circuits that prevent energy that would produce a spurious resonance from lumped, distributed or waveguide circuit elements by using for example a low pass filter with a cut-off below the first spurious resonance frequency and bypassing the energy at frequencies at or above the first spurious resonance frequency through a secondary path. This secondary path is high pass in nature, with a cutoff substantially similar to the low pass filter. The two paths are combined at the common output, using a lowpass matching network.

摘要: The present invention relates to methods and compositions for increasing the production of high titre stocks of recombinant AAV (rAAV) through regulation of expression of the AAV REP and CAP proteins. The methods and compositions of the invention are based on the observation that the low level expression of the AAV REP protein increases the production of AAV viral capsid protein and efficiency of packaging resulting in production of higher titre recombinant viral stocks. The invention encompasses recombinant AAV vectors that direct the expression of AAV REP and CAP proteins and the use of such vectors for the production of novel stable cell lines capable of generating high titre rAAV vectors. The invention provides methods for regulating the expression of the AAV REP gene at the transcriptional and post-translational level. The methods and compositions of the invention can be used to produce high titre stocks of rAAV which can be used in gene therapy for the purpose of transferring genetic information into appropriate host cells for the management and correction of human diseases including inherited and acquired disorders.

摘要: A method for performing performance prediction with respect to a vertical flight plan. A system performs performance prediction with respect to a vertical flight plan of an aircraft that includes determining which vertical flight plan rules of a plurality of vertical flight rules that have been loaded in a predictions processor are active by monitoring for criteria that are used to initiate or terminate one or more of the vertical flight plan rules. Aircraft state is predicted at waypoints along a lateral flight path in view of active vertical flight plan rules, and the predicted aircraft state is updated within an integrated flight plan database that stores prediction performance data associated with the aircraft's flight.

摘要: An engine filter assembly for cleaning cooling air for an internal-combustion engine for use in high-debris environment such as in roofing-removing machines includes a filter housing attached to the machine at a remote position. The filter housing houses a two-stage air filter that consists of a cylindrical-shaped filter element with an outer pre-filter covering. Both the carburetor air inlet and a fan housing leading to the cooling fan on the engine are connected to the filter housing by tubing. A shield protects the engine from direct contact with loose or air-borne materials during the operation of the machine. A thermal sensing device reads the temperature of the engine and automatically shuts down the engine if the temperature rises beyond specification, reducing the chance of engine failure.
