摘要： An ambidextrous locking clamp system for providing a user the ability to alter the configuration of a hand operated device allowing a right or left handed user to operate the device. The device has a hingedly connected first and second elongated member each with a finger engaging member, a working head, and an indicator for identifying if the clamp is setup for left or right handed operation. At least two inter-engaging latching members are removably attachable to the first and the second elongated members. The latching members are symmetrical, interchangeable, and reversible, allowing a user to change the configuration of the ambidextrous device. The latching members can be retained to the elongated members by a rotatably lever, a removable retaining cap, or a removable retaining pin. Additionally, the latching members can be incorporated into removable finger engaging members, thereby allowing the entire finger engaging member and latching member to be removed, interchanged or reversed.

摘要： A stirring coffee press for brewing beverage grounds, such coffee or tea, while simultaneously compressing and agitating the grounds in a single container. The stirring coffee press includes a container with a fitted lid, a plunger assembly slidably and rotatably received within the container and being attached to a hollow shaft which extends out through an opening in the lid, and a blade assembly attached to a shaft that extends and exits through the hollow shaft of the plunger assembly. The hollow shaft of the plunger assembly has a handle attached to the end of the hollow shaft, wherein the plunger handle is adapted to be received and retained into the aperture in the lid, thereby preventing the plunger assembly from rotating. The blade assembly shaft has a knob attached to its open end allowing the blade assembly to be freely rotated.

The clamp includes hingedly connected first and second elongated members each with a finger engaging member, a working head, and a latching member featuring ratcheting teeth. The teeth are engaged by moving the finger engaging members toward each other in an engaging motion, and are disengaged by sliding them in a disengaging motion perpendicular to the engaging motion with opposing force applied to the finger engaging members. One of the elongated members includes a planar portion that is rotatably received in a slot defined in a female portion of the other elongated member. The planar portion can include a wedge that contacts a side of the female portion that defines the slot when the clamp is in a closed position.

The locking clamp has hingedly connected first and second elongated members each with a finger engaging member, a working head, and a latching member featuring a flexible arm and ratcheting teeth. One of the latching members has its ratcheting teeth facing toward the working heads, and the other latching member has its ratcheting teeth facing away from the working heads. The ratcheting teeth are engaged by moving the finger engaging members toward each other thereby flexing the flexible arms. The ratcheting teeth are disengaged by sliding them in a motion perpendicular to a ratcheting teeth engaging motion thereby flexing of the first and second members away from each other with an opposing force applied to the finger engaging members.

摘要： A utility knife system for cutting objects The utility knife system has an external handle, an internal housing assembly, and a retracting and latching assembly slidable within the internal housing assembly. The internal housing assembly has a base featuring support ridges to come in contact with the external housing when in a closed position, a sliding track adjacent the base, and at least one latching notch. A hinge is provided for pivotally connecting the external handle to the internal housing. The retracting and latching assembly is receivable within the sliding track of the internal housing and is removably engageable with the latching notch of the internal housing assembly. The retracting and latching assembly is adapted to removably retain a cutting blade and retract the cutting blade in and out from the internal housing assembly.

摘要： A utility knife system for cutting objects The utility knife system has an external handle, a retractable sheath, a retracting mechanism, and an internal housing. The external handle has a sheath sliding track running longitudinally therein and a hinge. The retractable sheath has at least one protrusion that corresponds to the shape of the sheath sliding track, slides within the external handle. The retracting mechanism moves the retractable sheath and locks it in a desired position. The internal housing is received within the retractable sheath and the external handle, and has a hinge attachable to the hinge of the external handle, and a blade retention end opposite of the hinge. The blade retention end receives a cutting blade.
