    摘要: An apparatus (10) for reading out X-ray information stored in storage phosphor plates with an input unit, (12) for inputting a plurality of cassettes (14, 28, 32) which can be stacked one behind the other in a direction of stacking (S) within the input unit (12), has an oblong accommodation well (30) for accommodating one of the cassettes (32), the accommodation well (30) being adjacent to the input unit (12), a moving device (50) for horizontally moving the cassette (32) accommodated by the accommodation well (30) along a path of movement, and a deflection element (64, 66) for deflecting a next cassette located within the input unit (12) which is adjacent to the cassette (32) accommodated by the accommodation well (30) and projects at least partially into the path of movement, the deflection element (64, 66) being positioned and designed such that with horizontal movement of the cassette (32) located within the accommodation well (30), due to contact between the cassette (32) located within the accommodation well (30) and the next cassette (28) located within the input unit (12) a force is exerted upon the latter in the direction of stacking (S) and thus moves out of the path of movement.

    摘要: A method and a reading station for processing a cassette containing an X-ray film coated with a layer of stimulatable phosphorus are proposed. The cassette with the film therein, before being positioned in the reading station, is exposed to X-rays to produce a latent image thereon. The film is then removed from the cassette and the phosphorus layer is brought by a laser beam scanner to luminescence so that the emitted light converts the latent image into digital electric signals stored in the central memory. The film is then erased and re-inserted into the same cassette within the reading station.

    摘要: Apparatus and method for conveying objects generally transversely to a direction of initial delivery. The apparatus uses two conveying arrangements which can move independently of one another. Each of the two conveying arrangements have a transport region and a return region. A dividing gap is arranged between the two conveying arrangements. A sliding mechanism can be positioned to at least one of adjust a length of the transport regions and adjust a length of the return regions. An equalizing mechanism can be positioned to at least one of compensate for the change in the return regions and compensate for the change in the transport regions. The sliding mechanism and the equalizing mechanism are separate mechanisms.     摘要: An x-ray film has a flexible sheet having a front face and a rear face, a layer of an x-ray stimulable phosphor on the front face, and a layer of mangetically attractable material, for example a steel foil, on the rear face. This film is used with a film handling apparatus, normally a reader, having structure forming a flap support surface of a size at least equal to that of the film and at least one permanent magnet is imbedded in the structure and extends over the surface. Thus the rear face of the film can be adhered magnetically to the surface. An array of stripping elements is distributed over the surface and each element is displaceable through the surface between a recessed position below the surface and an advanced position projecting past the surface. An actuator can displace the elements from their withdrawn to their advanced position and thereby lift from the surface a film clinging magnetically to the surface.
