Abstract:
A drive arrangement for a motor vehicle roof with a movable roof part (14) which is connected to a carrier element (11, 111, 225) which can be displaced by a drive element (5, 19, 220) along a given path of motion (8, 219), the drive element (5, 19, 220) engaging a intermediate pivot lever (12, 112, 221) which applies the drive force applied by the drive element (5, 19, 220) via a driver (6, 244) to the carrier element (11, 111, 225) depending on the pivot position of the intermediate lever (12, 112, 221), and the drive arrangement is constructed such that the pivot position of the intermediate lever (12, 112, 221) is determined by the position of the carrier element (11, 111, 225) along the path of motion (8, 219).
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a blind-stitch sewing machine with a plate-shaped fabric bender to make a sewing material bulge in to the arcuate path of an arc needle. The fabric bender extends in a plane perpendicular to the path of the arc needle and is pivotable to-and-fro in this plane by means of a drive shaft extending perpendicular to this plane. The fabric bender is rotatably supported in a slot of a support assembly projecting from the drive shaft to pivot about an axis parallel to this drive shaft, and furthermore is spring biased away from the drive shaft. To achieve a narrow construction of the fabric bender and of its support assembly, the drive shaft is hollow and a torsion spring is provided to load the fabric bender. The torsion spring is mounted in the borehole of the hollow shaft where adequate space is available to install the spring.
Abstract:
A folding top for a convertible is proposed, comprising a folding-top cloth (16) and a folding-top linkage (14) which is provided on both sides with a main link (28) which is mounted on a main bearing (26) and to which a frame part (38), which extends substantially in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle in the closed position of the top, and an intermediate link (44) are coupled. A front, rigid folding-top element (22) is connected via a first folding-top element link (58) to the intermediate link (44) and via a second folding-top element link (60) to the frame part (38). According to the invention, means are provided on the folding-top linkage (14), said means bringing about a continuous slowing-down of the front, rigid folding-top element (22) during the sequence of movement of the top from a storage position to the closed position.

In the installed state of the convertible top 1, the at least one mounting element (5) is detachably connected to at least one corresponding mounting element 6 of the roof part 3.
Abstract:
A soft top for a motor vehicle, lockable on a windshield frame by a latch disposed on a forward soft top section and swivelable to a locked position, the soft top movable to a rearward stowed position once the latch has been swiveled into an unlocked position. A locking mechanism provides a catch hook on the vehicle body swivelable between a releasing position and a blocking position, in which the same engages with a catch hook engaging part that is mounted on the soft top or the vehicle body when the soft top is in the blocked state. The locking mechanism is fitted with a spring device, against the spring force of which the soft top runs into the stowed position, while the catch hook can be swiveled into the released position by means of the locking drive in order to release the locking mechanism.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a sensor device, in particular for detecting at least one object in a swivel region of a convertible top, comprising at least one sensor which is formed at least partly by a convertible top rod system. According to the invention, the sensor further comprises a conductor path structure connected in an electrically conductive manner to the convertible top rod system so as to form a sensor electrode. The invention further relates to a method for installing such a sensor device. Furthermore, the invention relates to a conductor path structure, in particular a flexible and substantially flat conductor path structure. According to the invention, said structure can be attached to a convertible top rod system, in particular to one or more links of a link system of the convertible top rod system, wherein the conductor path structure can be connected to the convertible top rod system in an electrically conductive manner via one or more contact regions.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a soft top for a motor vehicle, which can be locked on a windshield frame by means of a latch (18) that is disposed on a forward soft top section (12) and can be swiveled into a locked position while said soft top can be moved into a stowed position at the rear of the vehicle once the latch (18) has been swiveled into an unlocked position. The soft top can be blocked in the stowed position by means of a locking mechanism (22). The inventive soft top is equipped with a locking drive (32, 24) which is drivingly connected to the latch (18) in order to swivel the latch (18) between the locked position and the unlocked position. The locking mechanism (22) is provided with a catch hook (56) on the vehicle body or the soft top. Said catch hook (56) can be swiveled between a releasing position and a blocking position, in which the same engages with a catch hook engaging part (28) that is mounted on the soft top or the vehicle body when the soft top is in the blocked state. In order to simplify blocking and releasing of the locking mechanism in such a soft top for a motor vehicle, the locking mechanism (22) is fitted with a spring device (50, 52, 48), against the spring force of which the soft top runs into the stowed position, while the catch hook (56) can be swiveled into the released position by means of the locking drive (32, 34) in order to release the locking mechanism.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The invention concerns a sewing machine having a sewing-material feeder to advance the material being sewn in a step-wise manner and having furthermore a drive shaft pivoting to-and-fro in order to intermittently move the sewing-material feeder in the direction of advance of the material being sewn. The drive shaft includes a radially projecting drive crank connected by a linkbar of corresponding length to an output crank pivotably supported on a sleeve to pivot about an axis parallel to the drive shaft. The sleeve is rotatably supported on an output shaft cooperating with the sewing-material feeder and can be rotated by means of a stitch-length adjustment device. The output shaft is also parallel to the drive shaft and is driven by the output crank through a transmission provided on the sleeve. By this arrangement, a high compactness and a very advantageous force transmission between drive and output shafts can be achieved.
