Abstract:
It is described an access module for a relay node for a radio telecommunication network. The access module includes an access communication part for providing a radio connection between the relay node and at least one user equipment, and an access interface for connecting the access module to a backhaul module of the relay node via an Internet Protocol network connection, wherein the access module and the backhaul module are spatially separated from each other. It is further described a backhaul module for a relay node, which includes a backhaul communication part for providing a radio connection between the relay node and a base station of the radio telecommunication network, and a backhaul interface for connecting the backhaul module to an access module of the relay node via an Internet Protocol network connection, wherein the backhaul module and the access module are spatially separated from each other. It is further described a relay node including such an access module and such a backhaul module and a radio message forwarding method, which is carried out with at least one of such a relay node.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method are described, by which a fragmentation probability is determined which indicates a probability of fragmentation of frequency resources in at least one network section for at least one network operating entity. Moreover, an apparatus and a method are described, by which frequency resources in at least one network section are allocated and/or de-allocated, priorities of frequency resources are defined for at least one network operating entity individually, and allocating and/or de-allocating of the frequency resources for the at least one network operating entity is performed based on the priorities. For allocating and/or de-allocating of the frequency resources, also the fragmentation probability may be taken into account.
Abstract:
According to a method for operating a radio communication system, a first radio station decides about the assignment of first radio resources to a user terminal and thereafter assigns the first radio resources to the user terminal. Before deciding about the assignment of the first radio resources to the user terminal, the first radio station transmits information to a second radio station regarding the first radio station's future assignment of the first radio resources. Radio stations carry out the method.
Abstract:
Controlling a probability that user equipment is in a power saving mode to adapt the user equipment to characteristics of a shared channel and packet service includes determining a class of the user equipment by comparing at least one data traffic requirement value and a power condition value of the user equipment with predetermined threshold values, and adjusting mode timers according to the determined class of the user equipment depending on the data traffic requirement values and depending on the power condition value of the user equipment.
Abstract:
One exemplary aspect of the invention provides a routing node for an FDD communication network, which node has a node receiving apparatus, which is set up in such a manner that it can be used to receive signals from a terminal at a first frequency, and a node transmitting apparatus which is set up in such a manner that it can be used to transmit signals to the terminal at a second frequency. In this case, the routing node is set up in such a manner that it can transmit an indication signal to the terminal, which signal indicates whether the routing node can receive signals at the first frequency at a given point in time.
Abstract:
A mobile network telecommunication system is provided. The system includes a base station for sending flow control signal for a UE (user equipment) to a core network, the core network being capable of responding to the flow control signal by buffering packet data for the UE, and an interface for transmitting the flow control signal between the base station and the core network.
Abstract:
Data received by a first network component from a second network component is processed by a filter function according to which the whole data or a portion of the data is used.
Abstract:
A method and a device are provided for data communication between a first instance and a second instance, the method including the step of: The first instance issues a first status report to the second instance either via a third instance or directly.
Abstract:
The proposed methods and devices provide a new technique for feeding back CSI information of a channel between a network element and a user equipment to the network element by feeding back a location of the user equipment. The new technique opens completely new options for multi user scheduling and channel prediction. According to embodiments, a proposed user equipment configuration is indicated to the user by the user equipment.
Abstract:
A method and arrangement for controlling a system of multiple traffic signals for regulating the traffic of vehicles is described. Traffic data is transmitted by wireless transmission to traffic data processing units assigned individually to a locally limited group of traffic signals, and each traffic data processing unit performs an analysis of the local traffic situation for the environment of the locally limited group of traffic signals up to, at the maximum, the neighboring locally limited groups of traffic signals.
