Abstract: Systems and methods for a wireless device to determine whether to associate with a wireless access point in view of a historical location-based record to predict a probability for a future location state based on a historical dwell time of the historical location-based record. Some examples include a wireless device receiving information for a location with multiple access points, where the location has a plurality of rooms, and the information includes historical proximity records of wireless stations associated with each of the multiple access points, and current proximity metrics for at least one of the multiple access points.

Abstract: A method may include determining at a first AP that a first original packet sent from a second AP to a STA failed to decode at the STA. The method may include sending from the first AP a first retransmission packet that includes error correction information for the first original packet the STA. The method may include the first AP coordinating with a third AP that is sending an ongoing communication to another STA to avoid interference between the first retransmission packet and the ongoing communication. The method may include sending a second original packet from the first AP to the STA or the other STA.

Abstract: A privacy-enhancing wireless communication method for use by a transmitting wireless device having a first location, the method comprising: obtaining a frame preamble using a transceiver device at a location, wherein the frame preamble includes a predetermined pattern and wherein movement information corresponding to the location is detectable based on channel state information of the transceiver device in accordance with the pre-determined pattern; modifying the predetermined pattern of the frame preamble to include amplitude or phase distortion; and masking the movement information by transmitting, using the transceiver device, a frame including the frame preamble with the modified predetermined pattern.

Another method may include monitoring activity at a location based on spatial diagnostics data associated with a communication channel of a network with a WAP; and in response to detecting an unrecognized device at the location, calibrating the WAP to nullify parameters of the communication channel from the unrecognized device without disrupting communication with authorized devices.

Abstract: A communication system includes multiple distributed antenna circuits and an access point (AP). The AP is coupled to the distributed antenna circuits and includes multiple transmit chains, multiple receive chains, and an antenna control circuit communicatively coupled to the transmit chains and the receive chains. The antenna control circuit is configured to determine a subset of the distributed antenna circuits to communicatively couple to at least some of the transmit chains to transmit data to a wireless station (STA) that is in range of the subset. A corresponding method includes determining the subset to communicatively couple to the at least some of the transmit chains of the AP. The method includes communicatively coupling the subset to the at least some of the transmit chains. The method includes directing the data from the at least some of the transmit chains to the subset of the distributed antenna circuits.
