摘要: A method of receiving data at a communications device from an infrastructure equipment forming part of a radio network part of a wireless communications network is provided. The method comprises receiving at the communications device one or more downlink transport blocks, estimating the data carried by each of the one or more downlink transport blocks by performing an error correction decoding in accordance with the error correction encoding applied by the infrastructure equipment.

摘要: Method for providing a count indication of radio devices to a radio network, particularly in idle or in-active mode, comprising transmitting a presence message to a first base station of the radio network based on a reporting rule, which presence message indicates presence of a radio device within a dedicated coverage area of the radio network. The reporting rule may include a probability rule, wherein said presence message is transmitted from the radio device responsive to an outcome of a probability check, based on the probability rule, indicating that the radio device shall transmit the presence message. The reporting rule may also be transmitted responsive to the radio device making a cell reselection to the first cell. After receiving an acknowledgement presence message from the base station, connection setup to the network is terminated.

摘要: A radio device applies a carrier frequency for transmission of data between the radio device and a base station of a cellular network. Further, the radio device configures a measurement time interval in which the radio device temporarily switches from the transmission of data to receiving at least one broadcast signal conveying system information from the base station. Based on the received at least one broadcast signal, the radio device estimates an offset of the carrier frequency as applied by the radio device to a frequency of a carrier signal as received from the base station.

摘要: A communications device transmits data in preconfigured resources of an uplink of a wireless communications network by performing a procedure to determine whether the communications device can transmit signals in the preconfigured resources of the uplink, and if the communications device determines that it can transmit signals in the preconfigured resources, transmitting signals representing the data in the preconfigured resources. The procedure to determine whether the communications device can transmit signals in the preconfigured resources of the uplink includes a transmission parameter confirmation procedure which confirms that a value of one or more transmission parameters to be used for transmitting the signals representing the data can be used for the signals representing the data to be detected by an infrastructure equipment of the wireless communications network.

摘要: A method of operating a network access node in a wireless telecommunications system comprising the network access node and a terminal device, wherein the method comprises: establishing that a downlink message, e.g. a paging message, for the terminal device to decode is going to be transmitted by the network access node; and transmitting wake-up signalling to the terminal device in advance of transmitting the downlink message to provide the terminal device with an indication the downlink message for the terminal device is going to be transmitted, wherein the wake-up signalling comprises an indication of an amount of synchronisation signalling for use by the terminal device to achieve radio synchronisation with the network access node, wherein the amount of synchronisation signalling depends on an amount of time elapsed since the terminal device was previously radio synchronised to the network access node.

摘要: Positioning reference signals are transmitted in a downlink direction from base stations (200) of a wireless communication network to a wireless communication device (100) or in an uplink direction from the wireless communication device (100) to base stations (200) of the wireless communication network. According to a frequency hop pattern, a radio interface of the wire-less communication device is switched between multiple different frequency ranges. In this way, the wireless communication device (100) can receive the downlink positioning reference signals on multiple different frequencies defined by the frequency hop pattern or send the uplink positioning reference signals on multiple different frequencies defined by the frequency hop pattern.
