摘要: An apparatus and system to permit a UE idle or inactive mode to operate as an URLLC initiating device operating in a shared spectrum in a PRACH procedure are described. The UE receives a gNB control signal that contains an indication that the UE is able to operate as an initiating device and in response transmits a physical random access channel (PRACH) message within a Fixed Frame Period (FFP) of the UE. Transmission of the PRACH message is contingent on non-overlap of the PRACH message transmission with the idle period of a gNB FFP.

摘要: An apparatus and system to enable URLLC PUSCH repetitions in the unlicensed spectrum are described. The number of consecutive PUSCH repetitions indicated in the RRC parameter is reinterpreted as the number of transmission occasions over which the UE is able to attempt CCA. An orphan symbol is used to provide a DMRS transmission or cyclic prefix of the PUSCH transmission causing the orphan symbol. Whether a CG-UCI is piggybacked in a PUSCH transmission, and whether DCI-DFI is used, is dependent on whether cg-RetransmissionTimer is configured.

The configuration information may indicate a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource for the first HARQ-ACK codebook and a PUCCH resource for the second HARQ-ACK codebook. The UE may multiplex the first priority HARQ-ACK bits and the second priority HARQ-ACK bits in a PUCCH transmission when the PUCCH resources for the first and the second HARQ-ACK codebooks overlap. The LTE may use the PUCCH resource for the higher priority HARQ-ACK bits to multiplex the first priority HARQ-ACK bits and the second priority HARQ-ACK bits.

摘要: Systems for providing prioritization of UL transmissions in a UE are described. The prioritization information is used to resolve resource conflicts among UL transmissions that include conflicts between high priority UL transmissions, between an aperiodic-channel state information transmission and a scheduling request, and between a low priority UL transmission and a high priority UL transmission when timeline conditions for multiplexing in a single UL transmission are not met. The prioritization is based on timing and priority of the UL transmissions to determine which of the UL transmissions to transmit and which to cancel. Additional prioritization is based on reception by the UE of a cancelation index or in an additional overlapping high priority UL grant received in a DCI of a PDCCH that overlaps with at least one other PDCCH associated with the UL transmissions.

摘要: Systems and methods for PDCCH monitoring in NR systems. The UE provides to a serving cell UE capability information indicating a capability of the UE to monitor PDCCH. The UE capability information indicates a carrier aggregation capability larger than multiple serving cells and has a maximum number indication for a maximum number of PDCCH candidates that the UE can monitor per span. The serving cell transmits an RRC message to a UE in response to the UE capacity information. The RRC message has a per-slot and/or per-span indication to monitor PDCCHs on the serving cell for a maximum number of PDCCH candidates and non-overlapping CCEs. The UE monitors PDCCH candidates and, in the event that a span contains larger than a maximum number of PDCCH candidates or non-overlapping CCEs across multiple served cells, determines whether to monitor a particular PDCCH candidate in the span.

摘要: Systems and methods of scheduling grant-based traffic and mapping resources for grant-free traffic are provided. Grant-based traffic is scheduled in a first frequency partition, and grant-free traffic is mapped in a second frequency partition. In a first option, grant-based traffic is also scheduled in part of the first partition, but in a limited manner that ensures a given device's transmission and retransmissions do not all experience interference with the grant-based traffic. In another option, some grant-free traffic is mapped to part of the second partition and is spread in frequency across the second partition.
