Abstract:
A method for supporting an emergency service by a mobility management entity (MME) and a base station in a mobile communication system, and a MME and base station, are provided. The method for supporting an emergency service by a MME includes receiving, by the MME, a first message including information associated with an attach request of a terminal from a base station, determining, by the MME, whether the attach request is accepted based on information indicating an emergency service included in the first message, and transmitting, by the MME, a second message to the base station if the attach request is accepted, wherein if the information associated with the attach request includes the information indicating the emergency service, the attach request is accepted, and wherein the information indicating the emergency service is included in the first message using information included in a third message received from the terminal.
Abstract:
The method for establishing a connection by a HNB comprising operations of: the HNB transmitting an “attachment request” message to an operation and maintenance center (OMC); the OMC transmitting an “attachment response” message to the MB; the HNB establishing a connection with an MME indicated by the “attachment response” message. With the method proposed, a UE can switch between HNBs in the same CSG through interface X2. Meanwhile, such information as the radio resource management and so on can be exchanged between two HNBs.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for detachment of a mobile set including receiving, by a service node of a communication system, a detachment request from the mobile set, transmitting, by the service node of the communication system, a delete context request message for the mobile set to a first service node of another communication system, and transmitting, by the service node, a detachment indicator to a second service node of the another communication system, wherein the service node of the communication system is different from the service node of the another communication, wherein both the service node of the communication system and the first service node of the another communication system store context information related to the mobile set, and wherein the mobile set moves between the service node of the communication system and the first service node of the another communication system without an area updating.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for a multi-media broadcast/multicast service (MBMS) by a radio network controller (RNC), including generating a command for updating an MBMS notification indicator, the command including notification indicator information and a connection frame number, transmitting the command to a base station, and receiving a notification indicator starting at a time based on the connection frame number for a modification period if the modification period is included in the command, wherein the notification indicator information is used to generate the notification indicator.
