摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for establishing a default radio data bearer on a secondary base station, and a corresponding master base station, secondary base station, and computer readable media. 摘要: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). According to embodiments, an access and mobility management function (AMF) comprises at least one transceiver; and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to receive, a mobility management entity (MME) for an evolved node B (eNB), a message associated with a handover required message for an inter-system handover from an evolved packet system (EPS) to 5G system (5GS) with a secondary gNB (SgNB) used as a target next generation node B (gNB), wherein the SgNB and the target gNB are co-located and the eNB is associated with the SgNB in a dual connectivity; transmit, to the target gNB, a handover request message for the inter-system handover from the EPS to 5GS with the SgNB used as the target gNB; and receive, from the target gNB, an acknowledge of the handover request message. The handover required message includes an SgNB user equipment (UE) X2 application protocol ID (SgNB UE X2AP ID) for identifying a UE over X2 interface in the SgNB. The handover request message includes the SgNB UE X2AP ID, and the SgNB UE X2AP ID is allocated at the SgNB.

The method of the embodiments in the present application, enables the first network device to interact with the second network device directly, so as to directly determine RLC failure processing according to the received RLC failure related information and the interaction information reported by the UE, thereby simplifying RLC processing, improving processing efficiency, facilitating to resolve the RLC failure correctly and rapidly, and improving user experience.

摘要: A method for supporting fast recovery of a User Equipment (UE) includes performing, by a serving base station, UE context synchronization for one or more other base stations in a related small cell cluster when a UE accesses the serving base station, performing, by a base station that the UE performs a radio resource control (RRC) connection re-establishment, the RRC connection re-establishment for the UE according to UE context saved in a synchronization process. The present also discloses another method and system for supporting UE fast recovery. By applying the technical solution disclosed by the present disclosure, when the UE moves in a small cell scenario, the UE can be recovered quickly in the case of a failure, so as to avoid the UE returns to an idle mode, avoid data loss, guarantee business continuity, and improve UE experience.

The present invention provides a method of a base station for supporting an inter-system handover from an evolved packet system (EPS) system to a 5th generation (5G) system. The method comprises receiving, from an access and mobility management function (AMF), a handover request message including E-UTRAN radio access bearer (E-RAB) information and quality of service (Qos) flow information, identifying whether a protocol data unit (PDU) session is accepted or not, determining whether a data forwarding for at least one Qos flow associated with the PDU session is accepted or not based on the E-RAB information and the Qos flow information in case that the PDU session is accepted and transmitting, to the AMF, a handover request acknowledgement message including information on the at least one Qos flow based on the determination. The method solves the data forwarding problem during the movement of a UE between an LTE system and a 5G system, so that the loss of data is avoided and the continuity of services is ensured.-

摘要: A method for data forwarding in a small cell system comprises: sending by a master base station (MeNB) to a target secondary base station (SeNB) information of a source SeNB or a source SeNB cell where a user equipment (UE) is located; determining by the target SeNB whether a direct data forwarding is feasible; notifying, by the target SeNB, the MeNB whether the direct data forwarding is feasible; and determining by the MeNB whether it is a direct data forwarding or an indirect data forwarding. The method for data forwarding provided in the present application may support both the direct data forwarding and the indirect data forwarding based on actual situation of the network, reduce data loss and failure of data forwarding, and improve the efficiency of data forwarding.
