    摘要: An image forming method wherein a latent image is formed by subjecting an image retainer having a photoconductive layer to a image exposure, a toner image is formed by developing the latent image with a toner, each the step of forming the latent image and the step of forming the toner image are repeated at least one time, and a plurality of toner images formed on the image retainer to a transfer material. At least one of the toner images is formed with a toner which has a spectral transmissivity as to substantially absorb a visible light but transmit a light having a wavelength of 750 nm or more. The latent image is formed by subjecting the image retainer bearing the toner image to an image exposure with a light containing a wavelength component of 750 nm or more.

    摘要: A photoreceptor having a photoconductive layer, an electrically insulating layer, an electrically conductive layer, and a color separation filter layer. The photoconductive layer comprises a charge generating material layer and a charge transporting material layer and the electrically insulating layer has a uniform electric charge thereon and is located at one side of the photoconductive layer. The electrically conductive layer is disposed at the side of the photoconductive layer opposite to that on which the electrically insulating layer is located. The color separation filter layer has a plurality of different kinds of color separation filters which are arranged close to one another and the layer is disposed at one side of the photoconductive layer whereby the photoconductive layer is imagewise exposed through the color the separation filters.

    摘要: A color image forming apparatus including a color image reader for optically scanning a document to produce blue, green, and red color separated information, a processor for processing the color separating information supplied by the reader and generating black, yellow, magenta, and cyan color information signals, a rotatable image retainer, and two latent image forming devices for forming latent images at a common region on the image retainer in accordance with the color information signals corresponding to two recording colors. The first latent image is formed by one of the latent image forming devices in synchronization with the scanning of the color image recorder to form a first latent image at a first writing position. The second latent image forming device is delayed to form the second latent image at a second writing position. The delay device compensates for the time necessary for the common region on the image retainer to travel between the first and second writing positions. The apparatus further includes a number of developers, each developer being used to develop one of the latent images, thereby forming a multicolor image composed of multiple toner images on the image retainer. Two color latent images, corresponding to two of the color information signals, are formed on the image retainer and developed by the developing means during the first rotation of the image retainer corresponding to a first optical scanning of the document, and the remaining two color latent images, corresponding to the remaining two color information signals are formed on the image retainer and developed by the developing devices during a second rotation of the image retainer corresponding to a second scanning of the document. All the toner images are then simultaneously transferred to the transfer sheet.

    摘要: A method for forming a color image comprising the following steps is disclosed,(a) uniformly applying a primary charge to a photoreceptor comprised thereon of a conductive substrate, a photoconductive layer and an electrically insulating layer, wherein one of said layers is provided with plural kinds of color separating means being finely divided into units,(b) exposing said photoreceptor to light given from a color original and simultaneously applying secondary charge,(c) uniformly exposing said photoreceptor to a color light capable of passing through at least one kind of said color separating means to form an electrically charged image pattern,(d) developing said electrically charged pattern with a developer comprising a color toner by a developing means to form a toner pattern,(e) repeating said steps (c) and (d) at least once more,(f) transferring said toner pattern onto an image pattern receiving material, provided that the color light and the color toner each different from these in the every previous steps are used and(g) fixing said image patterns transferred on said image pattern receiving material, wherein an area of said toner image pattern formed on an individual unit of said color separating means is larger than an area of said individual unit.     摘要: A method for forming a toner image on a photoreceptor includes charging a photoreceptor to a charged electric potential; exposing the photoreceptor so as to form a reference latent image for each of three colors with an exposure light having a reference image density; developing the three reference latent images with yellow, magenta and cyan developers each of the developers including a carrier and one of the yellow, magenta and cyan color developer so as to form a superimposed three color toner image; detecting a color balance between the superimposed three color toner images by separating reflected light from the superimposed images; and consuming at least one color developer of the yellow, magenta and cyan developers in accordance with a detection result of the color balance so that a new color balance of the superimposed three color toner images will have a desired color balance.
