The vehicle headlamp apparatus includes a low beam lamp unit which forms a low beam distribution pattern having a cutoff line along an upper edge thereof, and an additional lamp unit which forms an additional light distribution pattern including an area above the cutoff line of the low beam distribution pattern. The additional lamp unit is configured such that a luminous intensity of at least a portion of the additional light distribution pattern increases toward a horizontal line from above.

    摘要: This DC-DC converter circuit includes a switching circuit which switches a DC power supply with a primary side switching element, a transformer to a primary side winding whereof the output of the switching circuit is applied and which outputs a voltage which has been changed by a predetermined voltage change ratio to a secondary side winding, and secondary diodes for current adjustment connected to the secondary side winding of the transformer. Moreover, it includes a regeneration snubber circuit connected in parallel with the secondary diode circuit and including a series circuit of a discharge blocking diode and a snubber capacitor and a switching element for regeneration connected in parallel with the discharge blocking diode, a filter circuit connected between rectification outputs of the secondary diode circuit, and a control unit which turns the switching element for regeneration ON a predetermined time period after the timing of turning the primary side switching element OFF. The predetermined time period is set to approximately the time period during which the charge, accumulated in the snubber capacitor due to reverse recovery time when one of the secondary diodes has been turned OFF, discharges.

    摘要: Light emitted from the light source, which is disposed above an optical axis extending in front and rear direction of a vehicle lighting device, is reflected toward front of the vehicle lighting device by a reflector made of a transmissive member. An exterior surface of the reflector is formed with a plurality of protruding portions extending in a radial pattern with respect to the optical axis. Each of the protruding portions has a total reflection prism having a cross sectional shape perpendicular to the optical axis, which is approximately a V shape. The reflector is divided into twelve fan-shaped reflective regions, each having three protruding portions. The fan-shaped reflective regions, which are located in the left and right directions of the optical axis, reflect the light emitted from the light source in the direction more deviating from a direction along the optical axis than the fan-shaped reflective regions, which are located at the upper and lower directions of the optical axis.

    摘要: A lamp for a vehicle having a metallic light shielding shade that comprises a shade body serving as a light shielding section and a leg which extends rearward from the shade body in substantially a horizontal direction so that the light shielding section supported in a cantilever manner when the rear end of the leg is inserted and secured to a leg insertion hole formed in a reflector of the lamp, wherein the leg of the light shielding shade is obtained by laminating two plate-like extending portions that have expanded portions; and holding grooves are formed in the leg insertion hole. When the expanded portions are press-fitted into the holding grooves from the front side of the reflector, the leg is inserted in the leg insertion hole, and the rear end of the extending leg is bent so as to be on the rear surface of the reflector; as a result, the leg of the light shielding shade is securely held in the leg insertion hole of the reflector. The leg is formed by laminating two plate-like extending portions so as to have a high rigidity, realizes excellent light distributing characteristics, and prevents deflection of light distribution.
