The system may calculate positions of the boundaries of facial features such as eyes, lips and hair, or provide the user a sophisticated adjustment method. The invention places and shapes virtual cosmetics, hairstyles and accessories to precisely calculated locations, blending colors and shading for a realistic and lifelike result. Accessories such as eyeglasses and jewelry are also realistically applied. The system comprises individual makeover editors for skin, eyes, lips, hair and accessories. Virtual makeovers may be shared, including allowing multiple users modify the same image simultaneously.

    摘要: A dispenser of foodstuff is particularly well adapted to deliver cheese for pizza making. A refrigerator contains a bin which may be completely removed from said refrigerator for cleaning, as in a dishwasher, for example. The bin features inwardly sloping walls so that the cheese does not normally stick to the wall. An auger delivers the cheese to a spout where a star wheel meters flow and breaks up any clumps in the cheese. A spring biased trap door closes the spout, especially when the bin is removed from the refrigerator. The refrigerator contains parts which control the opening and closing of the trap door and the turning of the auger. The entire system operates under the control of a programmable microprocessor which includes means for detecting when the bin is empty or is failing to delivery the cheese.

    摘要: The R.V.H. (Rotary Valve Head) is a three way valve system designed to replace the head and valve train of four stroke combustion engines. Valve opperations are carried out with one rotating component. This is accomplished by rotating a cylinder with a concave inside a chamber with three openings. These openings are the intake, exhaust and combination ports. The combination port and cylinder form the top of the combustion chamber. Two main benefits result. Less energy is consumed in this system than traditional valve systems. Also, larger chambers can be utilized for the flow of gasses into and out of the combustion chamber.

    摘要: A system and method for culturing cells is provided that includes an extra-capillary space between at least one permeable hollow fiber and an enclosed chamber. Cells are placed in the extra-capillary space to grow. One or more reservoirs containing cell-culture media and/or an oxygen-containing gas are provided in communication with the at least one fiber. The system is configured to generate alternating flows of both the cell-culture media and the gas through a lumen of the hollow fiber(s), thereby passing both nutrients and gas through the walls of the fiber(s) to the cells in the extra-capillary space to provide a suitable environment for growth and/or proliferation of the cells. Flows of liquid and gas through the hollow fiber(s) can be produced by gravity and/or various pumping configurations.
