Abstract: A recording method uses an ink composition containing a colorant, resin particles, an organic solvent and water, and an aggregating liquid containing a coagulant for aggregating components of the ink composition. The method includes adhering the aggregating liquid to a recording region of a recording medium; adhering the ink composition to the recording region by ejecting the ink composition from a recording head; and drying the recording region to which the aggregating liquid and the ink composition are adhered such that an amount of the organic solvent in the recording region is 2.0 mg/inch2 or less to obtain a recorded material.

Abstract: An ink jet recording method includes layer forming which includes image recording which records an image by discharging an ink composition which contains water and coloring materials on a recording surface of a recording medium having low absorbency or non-absorbency to ink, and protective layer forming which forms a protective layer on the image by discharging a clear ink composition which contains resin particles and substantially does not contain a coloring material; and heating and drying which includes first heating which heats the recording surface at a glass transition temperature or more of the resin particles after the layer forming, and first drying which performs ventilation while heating the recording surface at a heating temperature or less of the recording surface in the first heating after the first heating, in which the drying time in the first drying is two times or more the heating time in the first heating.

Abstract: An ink jet recording method includes attaching ink by ejecting an ink composition from a head to attach to a recording region of a recording medium, and drying by heating the recording medium to which the ink composition is attached, in which the ink composition is a water-based ink composition including a resin and an amide compound represented by General Formula (1) as an organic solvent, and the drying dries the organic solvent in the recording region of the recording medium to be 2.0 mg/inch2 or less. In Formula (1), R1 represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; R2 and R3s represent each independently H or a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.

Abstract: An ink jet recording method includes: forming a first image layer by ejecting a first ink composition that contains resin particles, an organic solvent, and water on a recording medium by an ink jet method; first drying in which 80% by mass or more of water contained in the first ink composition of the first image layer is evaporated; and forming a second image layer by ejecting a second ink composition that contains water, and an organic solvent by which the resin particles contained in the first ink composition dissolve or swell on the first image layer subjected to the first drying by the ink jet method, in which the content of an organic solvent having a normal boiling point of higher than 250° C. in the first ink composition and the second ink composition is 2% by mass or less, respectively.
