    摘要: A structural bolt security apparatus includes a security nut forming a threaded central hole for a bolt; the security nut has a groove in an upper surface and/or a side surface. At least one groove is at least partially separated from the threaded central hole by the upper surface. In one embodiment, a security nut has a plurality of electrical contacts, logic electronics configured for monitoring electrical resistance across the electrical contacts, and a transmitter for broadcasting security data generated by the logic electronics. In one embodiment, a structural bolt security apparatus includes a security nut and an outer sleeve. Structural bolt security systems described herein include a security nut, a security socket, and a security wrench. The systems may be equipped with RFID chips for recognition of matched security nuts and security sockets, and/or with GPS transceivers for broadcasting security wrench position information.

The mechanism has a door latching assembly that is affixed to the door and which is latched to a floating catch housing that is affixed to the hood in a manner that the floating catch housing is vertically movable with respect to the hood. When the door is moved into its closed, latched position, the door latching assembly vertically aligns the floating catch housing so that a movable latch member is correctly oriented with respect to latch openings in the floating catch housing so that the movable catch member can enter the latch openings sufficiently to assure a positive, secure latch therebetween.

    摘要: An enforcement architecture and method for implementing digital rights management are disclosed. Digital content is distributed from a content server to a computing device of a user and received, and an attempt is made to render the digital content by way of a rendering application. The rendering application invokes a Digital Rights Management (DRM) system, and such DRM system determines whether a right to render the digital content in the manner sought exists based on any digital license stored in the computing device and corresponding to the digital content. If the right does not exist, a digital license that provides such right and that corresponds to the digital content is requested from a license server, and the license server issues the digital license to the DRM system. The computing device receives the issued digital license and stores the received digital license thereon.

    摘要: Rapid, size-based, deposition of particles from liquid suspension is accomplished using a nonuniform electric field created by coplanar microelectrode strips patterned on an insulating substrate. The scheme uses the dielectrophoretic force both to distribute aqueous liquid containing particles and, simultaneously, to separate the particles. Size-based separation is found within nanoliter droplets formed along the structure after voltage removal. Bioparticles or macromolecules of similar size can also be separated based on subtle differences in dielectric property, by controlling the frequency of the AC current supplied to the electrodes.
