    摘要: A pipelined adder for adding or subtracting two floating point input data each expressed by a sign data, an exponent data and a mantissa expressed in a sign-magnitude format, in accordance with an external operation mode designation signal to produce a floating point sum or difference data in a sign-magnitude format. In a first stage of the adder, the magnitudes of the exponent data of the input data are compared by a subtractor or a comparator and the magnitudes of the mantissa data of the input data are compared by a subtractor or a comparator. An actual operation mode for the mantissa data of the input data is determined, on the basis of the compare results of the exponent data and the mantissa data and the external operation mode designation signals, so that the operation result data is always expressed in a sign-magnitude format.

In the present invention, a braided wire is braided from three or more cluster wires, each comprising multiple strands, and is used as winding material for a leakage flux-type power conversion transformer. The braid pitch of the braided wire is set so that the ratio between one-turn winding length and the braid pitch is between 0.5 and 2.5.

    摘要: There is provided an electronic inductance circuit having a transistor, a first resistor, a second resistor, a capacitor and a first current source. The main current path of the transistor and the first resistor are connected in series to form a first serial circuit between an input terminal and an output terminal. The second resistor and the capacitor are connected in series to form a second serial circuit between the input and output terminals, thus forming a parallel circuit of the first and second serial circuits. The connection point between the second resistor and the capacitor is coupled to the control terminal of the transistor. The connection point is connected to the first current source for determining the operating point of the transistor.

    摘要: A power factor improving circuit capable of obtaining a high power factor for a power supply circuit and at the same time of achieving a smaller size and lower cost of the power supply apparatus by a simple construction. To accomplish this object, a choke coil L1 is connected between the higher potential side output terminal of a rectifier 1 and the primary winding N1 of a transformer T of a converter circuit 2, and one end of a smoothing capacitor C1 is connected to a connecting point between the choke coil L1 and the primary winding N1 of the transformer T. The other end of the smoothing capacitor C1 is connected to the cathode of a first diode D1, to the anode of a second diode D2 and to the anode of a third diode D3. Connections are respectively made of the anode of the diode D1 to the lower potential side output terminal of the rectifier 1, the cathode of the diode D2 to a connecting point between the primary winding N1 and a switching transistor Q1, and the cathode of the diode D3 to a connecting point toward the rectifier 1 of the choke coil L1.
