    摘要： An information processing apparatus includes a data processing unit which executes a copy process for recording data recorded on a first medium onto a second medium, and the data processing unit executes a questionable data discrimination process for discriminating questionable data which is highly likely to be not normally reproduced in a reproduction process in which a reproduction program different from a dedicated reproduction program to the data recorded on the first medium is applied, and executes at least any of processes, which include a questionable data deletion process for deleting the questionable data from a copy target or a warning notification process for notifying a user of a possibility that copied data will not be normally reproduced, according to the discrimination result in the questionable data discrimination process.

    摘要： An information processing apparatus includes a data processing unit which executes control of a copy process in which data recorded on a first medium is recorded on a second medium, and a data conversion unit which executes data conversion in the copy process, the data processing unit determines whether or not data to be copied recorded on the first medium is multi-angle content for which an angle change process is permitted, and when the data to be copied is determined to be multi-angle content, angle change point information is acquired and provided to the data conversion unit, and the data conversion unit creates converted data for which decoding is possible without referring to at least a preceding picture when the picture on an angle change point location is reproduced as a reproduction start point.

    摘要： A playback apparatus includes an obtaining unit obtaining playback management information including a main playback path of a main stream set, a first sub playback path of a first sub-stream set, and a second sub playback path of a second sub-stream set. The first and second sub playback paths are allowed for a predetermined category. A selection-receiver receives a selection of streams as a first combination or a second combination. A reading unit reads the corresponding stream sets according to whether the first or second combination is selected. A playback unit plays back the main stream set and the first or second sub-stream set. The number of files that are readable at one time is predetermined. The sub playback paths are determined so that the number of the files that are readable at one time does not exceed the predetermined number.

The control unit acquires, from the playback data acquired by the playback data acquisition unit, determination information indicating whether the playback data contains the data to be mixed with the stream data, and controls the selecting unit to output the stream data if the determination information determines that the playback data contains no data to be mixed and if data processed by the playback data processing unit is output as encoded data.
