    摘要： An image forming apparatus registers a mode program constituted by operation mode information set to a job in order to execute the job by retrieving the mode program. A mode program registration section outputs an instruction to acquire the operation mode information set to the job and acquires the operation mode information. An operation mode acquisition section sends a request to a software part corresponding to a process constituting said job to acquire the operation mode information, and acquires and outputs the operation mode information of a predetermined type, which is a return value output from the software part, to the mode program registration section. A mode program information management section creates mode program information including the operation mode information acquired by the mode program registration section and identification information of the mode program, and stores the mode program information in a mode program information retaining section.

    摘要： An image output system includes plural channels from each of which an image signal is output, a switching unit for switching the channel that outputs the image signal to an image output unit based on connection states of the plural channels, an information display generation unit for generating the image signal of an information display screen related to the currently outputting channel, and a display state storing unit for storing a display state related to the information display screen, the display state including a “display-ON” state and a “display-OFF” state. In a case where there is a change in the connection state of the currently outputting channel, when there is the information display screen whose display state is the “display-ON” state, the switching unit switches the channel after waiting for a predefined change in the display state related to the information display screen.

A range determining unit determines whether a thickness represented by input thickness information is larger than a minimum total thickness of sheets allowed to be bound with a ring member having the stored size and equal to or smaller than a maximum total thickness of sheets that can be bound with the ring member. When it is determined that the thickness represented by the thickness information is equal to or smaller than the minimum total thickness or larger than the maximum total thickness, a setting unit sets the size stored in the size storing unit to a different size.
