The display device includes a display panel; a chassis base having a first surface for supporting and for fixing the display panel thereto; a circuit board fixed to a second surface of the chassis base, the circuit board having circuit elements for driving the display panel; and at least one main fastening unit for fixing the circuit board to the chassis base such that a gap is formed between the circuit board and the chassis base. The main fastening unit includes a main body, fasteners, and first and second protrusions to form engaged portions. The display device may be a plasma display device.

摘要： A plasma display assembly having increased structural rigidity without using a reinforcing member is disclosed. The plasma display assembly includes a PDP, a chassis base and at least one or more circuit boards so as to provide the electromechanical structures to produce an image. The chassis base supporting the PDP at a rear side thereof includes a base part and at least one extended bent part. The base part is formed substantially parallel to the PDP. The extended bent part is formed in at least one of upper, lower, left and right edges of the base part, and includes a first bent part bent with respect to the base part to extend rearwardly, a second bent part bent with respect to the first bent part to extend in a direction parallel to the chassis base, and a third bent part bent with respect to the second bent part to extend forwardly. The circuit boards are arranged to be connected to at the rear side of the chassis base and drive the PDP during operation.

The plasma display device includes a plasma display module that includes a plasma display panel on which an image is displayed, a chassis base facing the plasma display panel, a circuit unit disposed at a back side of the chassis base for driving the plasma display panel, a front cover and a back cover that house the plasma display module, and at least a heat radiation coating layer formed between the front cover and the back cover. The heat radiation layer reduces a conventional heat dissipation sheet unnecessary, and thus reduces process times and manufacturing costs.

The plasma display module includes a chassis base, a plasma display panel arranged at a front portion of the chassis base, the plasma display panel being adapted to display images, a heat dissipation sheet arranged between the plasma display panel and the chassis base, the heat dissipation sheet including a plurality of pores, wherein a porosity of the heat dissipation sheet varies with distance from the plasma display panel, and a circuit unit arranged at a back portion of the chassis base to drive the plasma display. The heat dissipation sheet may be made out of three separate sheet materials, each sheet having a different porosity.
