    摘要: Process for the production of unsaturated ethers, in particular isopropenyl methyl ether (IPM), by pyrolysis of a ketal-containing or acetal-containing mixture, in particular dimethoxypropane (DMP), in the liquid phase in the presence of an organic carboxylic acid, according to the following reaction scheme: wherein R1=H or alkyl with 1-8 C atoms; R2=H, CH3—, C2H5—, or Cl—; R3=alkyl with 1-8 C atoms; R4=H, CH3—, C2H5—, or C3H7—, and R1 and R4 may be joined to form a 5-, 6-, or 7-membered ring. DMP is produced by the process from acetone and methanol by reaction in an acidic heterogeneous ion exchanger, the product being isolated by extraction with aqueous alkaline solution. In particular the process involves combining the IPM reaction product with the DMP reaction product, which permits the execution of a stable recycling process in which the methanol-containing streams of the IPM and DMP stages can be simultaneously extracted. The product may be isolated by the process by simple distillation of IPM from a mixture containing IPM, DMP and acetone.

    摘要: A process for the production of 2,3,5-trimethylhydroquinone diesters by aromatization of 2,6,6-trimethyl-2-cyclohexene-1,4-dione (4-oxoisophorone, ketoisophorone, KIP) with an acylating agent and an acidic soluble or insoluble catalyst, which process may be operated alternatively continuously or discontinuously. The process includes the following steps: a) a carboxylic anhydride having a C1 to C4 alkyl residue is used as the acylating agent, b) after the reaction, a proportion of the resultant carboxylic acid is optionally removed by distillation, c) the reaction solution is cooled, d) the product which has crystallized out is separated and washed, and e) the filtrate is returned to step a).

    摘要: A process for the preparation of methylheptanone and corresponding homologous methyl ketones involves the cross-aldolization of acetone with the corresponding aldehyde. The polar catalyst phase is introduced with acetone and an organic auxiliary solvent phase to form a two phase mixture in the presence of hydrogen. The corresponding aldehyde is then added at temperatures between 40° C. and 200° C. The process can be run in a continuous manner with the polar catalyst phase being recyled after regeneration. The use of the non-polar auxiliary solvent(s) increase yield and selectivity.
