    摘要: Vacuum brake booster for motor vehicles comprising a booster housing whose interior is subdivided by a movable wall into a vacuum chamber and a working chamber, a control valve that controls a pressure difference acting upon the movable wall and is accommodated in a control housing that carries the movable wall, said control valve being composed of two concentrically arranged sealing seats and an elastically deformable valve member, wherein the control housing includes a cavity through which a cross member extends and delimits the axial movability of a valve piston relative to the control housing, and the cross member includes at least one projection made of an elastic material in the area where the cross member rests against the booster housing. At least one projection made of an elastic material is provided in the area of points of abutment between the control housing and the cross member.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a brake force transmission device for a brake force booster with an elastic reaction element, and input member with an associated effective surface, an output member with an associated effective surface, and a first transmission ratio that is defined by a ratio of the effective surfaces being in operative engagement with the reaction element.An object of the present invention is to provide means of a simple design, if possible arranged in the form of an assembly, giving the operator of an automotive vehicle increased support when high braking forces are required.The essence of the invention is the provision of means which starting from a determined pressure prevailing in the reaction element will reduce the reaction force introduced into the input member by a defined amount. The driver is thus given additional support, requiring a proportionately reduced increase in input force for a further increase in output force. It is thus possible for the driver to better proportion the necessarily higher brake forces after the abrupt increase in the ratio of the amplification.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a position indicator for displaying the position of a piston within a cylinder as part of a piston-and-cylinder assembly in a brake system. The provision of a Hall element for a hydraulic generating cylinder is known in the art, with the Hall sensor mounted on the cylinder and a ring magnet mounted on the piston. An object of the invention is to describe a position indicator for a brake system, which has a simple construction and is able to provide signals relating to the position of the brake pedal relatively rapidly. This object is achieved because a Hall element of a Hall sensor is placed in the cylinder wall of the master cylinder, and because a magnetic zone is arranged in the piston-and-cylinder assembly so that the Hall element responds to the piston movement within the cylinder.

    摘要: A pneumatic brake servo for motor vehicles having a servo housing, the interior of which is divided into at least one working chamber and at least one vacuum chamber by at least one axially movable wall which can be loaded with a pneumatic differential pressure, having a control valve which controls the differential pressure and is arranged in a control housing for connecting the working chamber to the vacuum chamber or to atmosphere. The movable wall includes a diaphragm plate and a rolling diaphragm, and the working chamber is sealed by a sealing ring which bears against the control housing and which is clamped in the radial direction in relation to a longitudinal axis of the brake servo. An actively loaded area of the movable wall is reduced by division of the working chamber into a prechamber and a main chamber to avoid stick/slip effects and reduce disruptive noises.

    摘要: In a vacuum-operated power brake booster, a control housing with a poppet valve for the control of the differential pressure comprises two control housing parts slidable telescopically in relation to one another. The first control housing part is secured to the rolling diaphragm through a diaphragm plate. In the release position the diaphragm plate is in abutment on the frontal sealing surface of the poppet valve that is held by the first control housing part. On its side remote from the sealing surface, the poppet valve is furnished with a stop which bears against the second control housing part through a sleeve. The second control housing is held by the booster housing via a ring seal. To keep the effect of the atmospheric pressure on the outwardly disposed surfaces of the poppet valve as small as possible, the poppet valve is provided on its section remote from the sealing surface with a circumferential annular sealing lip which projects radially outwardly beyond the said section and which is in sealing abutment on the cylindrical inner surface of the second control housing part.
