A log of the copy job is generated, and the document is scanned to create a document content image. The log is encoded using an input image to produce a data-bearing halftone image which is merged with the document content image. The system 700 performs a forensic-level statistical image analysis via forensic analyzer 730 on the print signature and the reference signature based on the comparison to authenticate the printed media.

摘要： A method and apparatus for removing blur in an image is disclosed. The blur in the image is caused by relative motion between the imaging device and the object being imaged. A set of differences between the pixel values in the image is calculated. The set of differences in pixel values are divided into two groups, wherein the first group of differences in pixel values corresponds to differences in pixel values due to noise, and the second group of differences in pixel values corresponds to differences in pixel values due to noise and motion. An estimate of the motion blur is determined using the second group of differences in pixel values. The estimate of the blur is then used to remove the blur from an image.

A user is enabled to individually select different color reproductions of a plurality of different test images according to the user's preferences, wherein the different color reproductions are associated with different color mappings. The test images are reproduced by the output device or a display device simulating the output device. The user-specific color mapping is determined by combining the color mappings of the selected color reproductions.
