摘要: Disclosed is a magnesium metal-air battery in which capacity of a negative electrode made of magnesium or its alloy is sufficiently utilized for battery performance and which has a positive electrode material which is capable of coping with the capacity of the negative electrode. The magnesium metal-air battery includes at least one unit battery cell. The cell comprises a negative electrode made of magnesium or its alloy; a positive electrode-side catalyst layer including, as positive active material, activated carbon for absorbing oxygen in air, anhydrous poly-carboxylate, manganese and metal powder; a positive current collector which is made of conductive material and which is laminated on the positive electrode-side catalyst layer; and a separator which allows passing of ions between the negative electrode and the positive electrode-side catalyst layer while it separates therebetween. The positive electrode-side catalyst layer may further include carbon black, metal chloride and graphite. In use, where water or metal chloride solution is supplied to at least the positive electrode-side catalyst layer, an electromotive force is generated between the negative electrode and the positive current collector. In the case where a plurality of unit battery cells are connected in series, an insulator is provided therebetween.

摘要: A storage system coupled to a host has a nonvolatile semiconductor storage device that includes a nonvolatile semiconductor memory configured by a plurality of pages, and a storage controller coupled to the semiconductor storage device. In the case where data stored in the plurality of pages become unnecessary, with this plurality of pages being the basis of a region of a logical volume based on the nonvolatile semiconductor storage device, the storage controller transmits, to the nonvolatile semiconductor storage device, an unnecessary reduction request for reducing the number of pages that are the basis of the region having the unnecessary data stored therein. On the basis of the unnecessary reduction request, the nonvolatile semiconductor storage device invalidates the plurality of pages that are the basis of the region having the unnecessary data stored therein.

摘要: Provided are novel solubilized collagen fibers with which solubilized collagen can be obtained by instantaneous uniform dissolution in water at the time of use. The solubilized collagen fibers are formed from a solubilized collagen solid content of 66 to 87 wt %, buffer salt content of 2 to 6 wt %, water content of 10 to 22 wt %, and a residual hydrophilic organic solvent content of a trace amount of up to 6 wt % (totaling 100 wt %). The solubilized collagen fibers have an average fineness of 3 to 10 dtx, an isoionic point of 4.5 to 5.0, a water content of 10 to 22 wt %, and residual hydrophilic organic solvent content of a trace amount of up to 6.0 wt %. The solubilized collagen fibers are present uniformly in the direction of fiber length. The buffer salt is selected from sodium citrate, sodium lactate, and sodium phosphate.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a bellows tube formed of metal having a cylindrical collar portion and a plurality of corrugations adjacent thereto with outwardly curved portions and inwardly curved portions alternately formed along the longitudinal axis of the tube. The bellows tube includes a bulged end portion which extends from a first outwardly curved portion of the outwardly curved portions toward the collar portion. The bulged end portion is bulged outward of the tube, with its outer diameter gradually reduced from the first outwardly curved portion to the collar portion. A connecting end portion is formed for connecting the bulged end portion with the collar portion, and the connecting end portion is curved inward of the tube. Preferably, the radius of curvature of the connecting end portion is smaller than the radius of curvature of the first outwardly curved end portion.
