    Abstract: A capacitor-drop power supply includes a rectifier and a switched capacitor converter coupled to the rectifier. The rectifier is configured to receive an alternating current (AC) signal at an AC voltage and convert the AC signal into a rectified direct current (DC) signal at a rectified voltage. The switched capacitor converter is configured to receive the rectified DC signal and generate a converter output signal at a converter voltage that is proportional to the rectified voltage and that is less than the AC voltage.

    Abstract: A voltage proportional to a sum of currents flowing though first and second coupled inductors is developed across a first capacitor common to first and second series RC networks if the RC networks are time constant-matched to the inductors. The first and second inductors are coupled between a first and second switched drive phase input terminal, respectively, and an apparatus output terminal. The first and second RC networks are coupled in parallel with the first and second inductor, respectively. Inverting and non-inverting inputs of an amplifier are coupled to junctions of third and fourth time constant-matched series RC networks coupled in parallel with the first and second inductors, respectively. The amplifier subtracts voltages sensed at the junctions to generate a difference signal proportional to a magnitude difference of the currents flowing through the inductors.

    Abstract: In one example, an apparatus includes a base, a first inductor, and a second inductor. The first inductor is on the base. The first inductor has a first winding extension, a second winding extension, and a first winding coupled between the first winding extension and the second winding extension, in which at least a part of the second winding extension is vertically between at least a part of the first winding extension and the base. Also, the second inductor is on the base. The second inductor has a third winding extension, a fourth winding extension, and a second winding coupled between the third winding extension and the fourth winding extension, in which at least a part of the fourth winding extension is vertically between at least a part of the third winding extension and the base, and the second winding is laterally adjacent to the first winding.
