Abstract: A computer system for automatically handling and releasing funds for deposit items has a memory storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the system to receive an image of a cheque received and scanned by an automated teller machine (ATM) for deposit into a first account of an institution associated with the ATM. The scanned image of the cheque is analyzed to identify an institution and account on which that cheque is drawn. If that account has sufficient available funds to cover the cheque, then the first account is credited in the amount of the cheque without placing a hold on any of the credited amount and funds of the account on which the cheque is drawn are encumbered in that same amount. After crediting the first account, an indication is provided that the funds are available (e.g., to withdraw). Related methods and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

Abstract: The disclosed exemplary embodiments include computer-implemented systems, apparatuses, and processes that dynamically manage consent, permissioning, and trust between computing systems and unrelated, third-party applications operating within a computing environment. By way of example, the apparatus may receive a request for an element of data that includes an access token and first credential data associated with an application program. When the first credential data corresponds to second credential data associated with the application program, may determine that the requested data element is accessible to the application program and perform operations that validate the access token. Further, and based on the validation of the access token, that apparatus may obtain and encrypt the requested data element, and may transmit the encrypted data element to a device via the communications interface.

The apparatus may also perform that generate permissioning data indicative of the modified access permission and that store the permissioning data within a locally accessible or cloud-based repository.

Abstract: A computer system for recycling value instruments in an automated teller machine has a memory storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the system to receive an image of a value instrument obtained by an automated teller machine for deposit. The image of the value instrument is analyzed to determine its condition. Then, based on the condition of the value instrument, it may be determined that the value instrument is suitable for recycling to fulfill withdrawals. Upon determining that the value instrument is suitable for recycling to fulfill withdrawals, recycling of the value instrument by the automated teller machine is initiated and an indication reflecting the recycling is generated so as to influence when a next servicing of the automated teller machine will occur. Related methods and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

When more than one person is present in the environment of the voice assistant, the communication of private data by the voice assistant is only enabled when the environment of the voice assistant is determined to match the one or more predetermined privacy criteria for a multi-person environment.

Abstract: A computer system and method for managing a data request interface. The system includes a memory associated with the data request interface and coupled to a processor. The memory includes processor-executable instructions of the method for managing the data request interface. The method includes: receiving, from a first client device, a first signal including a primary authorization credential associated with a data record and a second signal including a request to generate an alternate authorization credential for use by a software module. The alternate authorization credential is associated with data retrieval constraints. The method includes generating the alternate authorization credential and configuring the data request interface to impose the data retrieval constraints for constraining data operations on the data record upon receipt of the alternate authorization credential. The method further includes sending, to the first client device or a second client device, a third signal including the alternate authorization credential.
