摘要: An ordering apparatus receives unit information for specifying units constituting a composite apparatus to be ordered. The ordering apparatus creates composite state information for specifying a composite state of units based on the received unit information, according to a predetermined rule. Meanwhile, the composite apparatus recognizes unit information for specifying units constituting itself, and creates composite state information based on the recognized unit information, according to the same rule as the above rule. Then, the composite state information created by the ordering apparatus and the composite state information created by the composite apparatus are compared. Accordingly, it is possible to realize a managing system capable of appropriately managing a complicated composite apparatus at the time of ordering, shipment, setup, subsequent maintenance, etc.

摘要: A digital copying machine including a scanner section for reading an image of a document and a printer section for printing on a sheet copy data obtained by the scanner section. The copying machine is connected via a communication line with a plurality of external terminals, for example, a personal computer or a facsimile apparatus. The digital copying machine is adapted to receive external data transferred from any one of the external terminals during the printing operation in copy mode for recording the image of the document, and to utilize a suspended period of the printer section for effecting the printout of the external data thus received.

摘要: This invention relates to an impact energy absorbing structure for a cabin of an automotive vehicle. The impact energy absorbing structure is provided with a trim member (10) covering an inboard side of a structural member, which constitutes the cabin of the automotive vehicle. An impact absorbing member is interposed between the inboard side of the structural member and the trim member (10), so that impact energy directed from a surface of the trim member (10) toward the structural member can be absorbed. When an occupant of the cabin is about to hit the structural member, impact energy is damped so that the occupant can be protected. The structural member includes a pillar (1) or the like, which constitutes the cabin of the automotive vehicle. The trim member (10) is arranged to cover an inboard side of the pillar (1) or the like. Resin-made ribs (11) or the like can be mentioned as the impact absorbing member. It is possible to design the structure so that impact energy directed from the surface of the trim member (10) toward the pillar (1) or the like can be absorbed through deformation or destruction of these resin-made ribs (11).

摘要: An election terminal apparatus includes an integral-type display/input unit constituted by a liquid crystal display unit and a tablet unit for input data. The display unit displays a first screen including icons corresponding to candidates. A voter operates the tablet unit to designate a candidate for whom he/she wants to vote. The election terminal apparatus discriminates the candidate designated by the voter, and causes the liquid crystal display unit to display an image for allowing the voter to input the candidate name or the like with handwriting. When the voter handwrites the candidate name or the like on the table unit, the election terminal apparatus performs character recognition with respect to the handwritten pattern. When a candidate specified by the recognized characters coincides with the candidate designated first, the election terminal apparatus increments the vote count of the candidate by one.
