    摘要： Data input from a key switch is displayed on a liquid crystal display, and whether to store the data in a RAM or an EEPROM is selected by a selection switch. If the EEPROM is selected, a CPU turns on a power switch to apply a high voltage to the EEPROM to write the input data therein. Data stored in the RAM and the EEPROM are read out upon operation of a search switch and are sequentially displayed on the liquid crystal display. It is clearly indicated on the display whether the currently displayed data is read out from the RAM or the EEPROM. With this operation, if data which is required to be protected against disconnection of a power supply voltage or a drop in power supply voltage is stored in the RAM, the data can be stored in the EEPROM.

    摘要： In a normal state, a time counting process and a key input process are performed in accordance with an oscillation signal of 38.4 KHz generated by a crystal oscillator. In a data communication mode, a process for exchanging data with an external appliance is performed in accordance with a frequency-divided signal of the above oscillation signal and received data are stored in a memory simultaneously in a high speed process under control of an oscillation signal of 800 KHz generated by a CR oscillator. A power source circuit provides a high power source voltage, preventing all circuits from a defective operation while the high speed process is performed since the high speed process can decrease a power source voltage.

    摘要： A recording and reproducing apparatus wherein an externally input voice stating an alarm time such as month, day and time, together with an associated message, is converted into voice data for storage in a voice data memory. Only that portion of the voice indicating the alarm time is recognized by a voice alarm time recognition circuit and is also stored in an alarm time data memory as an alarm time. When the alarm time is reached, the corresponding voice data stored in the voice data memory is read out and audibly reproduced so as to sound the alarm time and the associated message.

    摘要： In a stop watch, when a switch is depressed, hands are operated to start timing. Every time a split time switch is depressed, the time intervals between time points at which the split time switch is depressed are sequentially stored in a memory. Therefore, when the switch is re-depressed, the stop watch terminates its time measurement. A plurality of split times up to the end of time measurement can be reproduced, from the latest split time to the earliest split time.
